Nene H has made a name for herself with her signature boundary-pushing sound, always exploring different paths on which techno can lead her, be it in productions, live sets or DJ mixes. Her most recent works include the 2020 EP “Standard Deviation” in collaboration with the artist Poly Chain, and a terrific release in March of this year, the EP “Beast” on the French label Possession, featuring the remixes of artists VTSS and Hadone. 
 
It is her “in-your-face” spirit, always taking risks to project her music to the next level, that Nene H has brought today in our 12th podcast episode. The occasion for us to get to know more about her artistic and personal peregrinations.

This week on the Ismcast we have Lokier.

We are very pleased to welcome Mexican artist and friend Lokier to the mix series at last. She has made some serious moves in recent times having released on Amelie Lens' Exhale and Lenske as well as featuring on some of the biggest line ups across Europe and beyond. We are excited to continue watching her rise through the ranks.

An hour of full force techno to get the juices flowing on this spring Thursday afternoon, thankfully only one more day until the weekend.

Parfait got her start mixing at alternative LGBT+ community parties. Her career took a new turn when she became a resident of Possession. In 2019, she did a livestream for Boiler Room which marked the start of her international reputation.

Franck, formerly known as VIGILE, has established himself as a key player in the techno and electro scene over the last couple of years. 



The pandemic has given him time to transition into his new alias, Franck, where he has shifted his focus more towards the harder and faster style of techno. Since then he has released a slew of self-released EPs and has an EP forthcoming on 10PILLSMATE later in 2022. The tracks have notoriously received support from some of techno's leading players in the scene such as VTSS, Somewhen, Shlomo, SPFDJ, KI/KI, and OTTA to name a few. He is part of the burgeoning hard dance scene in Scotland and is ready to captivate Europe with a growing fanbase.

The Scottish DJ and Producer is also responsible for the label/event series, Carouse. What started as a club night has blossomed into a label and he now runs it simultaneously under both functions. Since its inception, they have released a number of EPs and compilations from top producers all receiving a positive reception. 

His unreleased track 'Hear The Sound' is taking the techno world by storm, racking up close to a million views on Instagram from the select few that have it playing it. Looks set to be one of the tracks of the year when it is released.@franck_music

Berlin-based queer artist The BlackMailer is a Dj and producer.
Ambitious, Axelle was the organizer of the famous Currywürst parties at the Batofar Paris, France. Axelle enrolled in a sound engineering school and moved to London. The city does not correspond to the artist and needs to find the energy and the support of another city. The Jellyfish rave, published by Carbone Records, put Axelle on the right track. After 2 tracks on the label "collapse of the future" (Va Carbone Records), Davide Carbone asked the artist for 2 Eps. Shall we go out tonight is loaded with pure rave energy. With only a few ingredients, The BlackMailer has created tracks that bomb and take the audience straight back to the sweaty and gloomy dance floors of our favorite clubs. The Blackmailer's work gained a massive amount of support from Amelie Lens, Kobosil, SNTS, Parfait, Airod...
Behind the decks, The BlackMailer is versatile. She started her career playing Detroit techno vinyls in Paris. Berlin transformed the artist. Her hard techno is a combination of rave and ecstatic sounds of powerful techno.

@Gracedahl is a Techno DJ/Producer based in Amsterdam, making a name for herself with her stellar DJ performances and her flourishing skill for production.

Momentarily she finds her inspiration within a lot of old-school UK influences while mainly focussing on the more powerful, straightforward spectrum of Techno. She builds tension by adding current industrial touches, leading acid lines and sinister vocals to her otherwise dominating old-school sound.

She has notably destroyed the Unpolished and Vault Session Warehouse Elementenstraat on several occasions and you will understand why once you'll have listen to this set.

We are more than happy to welcome her into the Dusk Family!
