Imagine a Tame Impala breakup song with a St. Vincent guitar solo. “Disintegrate” is a heartbreaking journey through an unravelling relationship. With lush synths, fuzzy guitars, thumping drums, and intimate vocals this genre bending meditation on impermanence is the first in a slew of singles from Possible Oceans coming in 2024. Permanent Pleasure and Remote Control will follow soon. A series of remixed dance floor versions of the new singles reworked by O’Neill and some his closest collaborators is also in the works.
