Post - Coital Silence is a band from Zagreb, Croatia. Their sound is intense , but above all, an unusual mix of metal and rock , with a kind of pop spicy flair. With female vocals at the helm, the band takes the audience on a journey through personal stories, dark tunnels of consciousness and through occasional moments when it seems that there is still a light at the end. Their demo album „Paraphernalia“ album includes 10 songs and one psychedelic cover song from 60's.

Post - Coital Silence can literally be translated as "after sex silence". That moment before two bodies speak to each other can be fabulous, happy, sad, relaxed, intense or enjoyed with tenderness, cigarettes or vine. There are many options, like the feelings in people. So it is in music. Everything has already been made up, played and done. Extreme became even more extreme and every subculture that dominated 90's today has many subgenres. This band is successfully balancing on the thin line that separates today's underground and mainstream music. By combining musical tastes of their members, band was able to create something new, a musical style which they like to call AlterPOP/Metal. Therefore, it is not a surprise when their melodious chorus is dissected by killer riffs and torn apart with double kicks in their songs.

"The idea is to play what we all love, and it is something that we all agreed upon as a band. Our roots include a wide range of music, so it is difficult to say exactly which genre we're playing, who we remind of, it is difficult to determine the boundaries of music. We prefer to break the boundaries in our own way."

Post-Coital Silence je bend iz ZG koji svira žestoku, no prije svega neobičnu mješavinu metala i rocka, začinjenu svojevrsnim pop štihom. Sa ženskim vokalom na čelu, bend vodi publiku na putovanje kroz osobne priče, kroz tamne tunele stanja svijesti i onih povremenih trenutaka kada se čini da ipak postoji svjetlost na kraju.

Bend postoji od 2011., a od tada je odradio 30-ak svirki diljem Hrvatske te skladao i snimio 10 autorskih pjesama koje se mogu poslušati na njihovom prvom demo albumu pod nazivom „Paraphernalia“. Post-Coital Silence se doslovno može prevesti kao "tišina poslije seksa". Taj trenutak prije nego dva tijela progovore može biti nevjerojatan, može biti sretan, tužan, opušten, predinfarktno stanje, uživanje u nježnostima, cigareta i pivo. Opcija je onoliko koliko je i osjećaja u nas ljudi. Tako je i u glazbi. Opcija je nebrojeno mnogo. Sve je već izmišljeno i odsvirano, ide se u krajnje ekstreme i svaka supkultura koja je dominirala 90-ih danas ima 400 podvrsta. Ovaj bend uspješno balansira na tankoj granici koja dijeli današnju underground i mainstream muziku. Spajanjem glazbenih ukusa svih članova benda uspjeli su stvoriti nešto novo, novi glazbeni stil kojeg su nazvali AlterPOP/Metal, tako da nije nimalo čudno da u njihovim stvarima milozvučni refren bude seciran ubojitim riffovima i rastrgan duplom bass pedalom.

“Ideja je svirati ono što svi volimo, i to je ono oko čega smo se mi, kao bend našli. Naši korijeni obuhvaćaju široki spektar glazbe, pa je teško reći što točno sviramo, na koga podsjećamo stilski, teško je odrediti granice u svijetu muzike. Mi više volimo probijati granice na svoj način.”
