TormentO’s new album unfolds as a cinematic journey of searching, lamentation, strength, and, above all, the peace of being with oneself. The Divine Intervention takes shape as a journey through self-knowledge, acceptance, and the closing of one cycle so that another may begin.

The album represents a path of self-discovery, as if one were travelling through the spectrum of life and experiencing each moment fully: the lessons, the struggles, the sadness, the victories, and the loves.

Each track tells a small, abstract story drawn from TormentO’s life, carrying with it profound emotional weight.

The album begins with tracks that will guide you into trance and dance, and as the story unfolds, the narrative becomes increasingly confusing, tense, and abstract. Ultimately, it leads back to the true self—toward acceptance of everything that has been lived, and gratitude for every moment that has shaped who you are today.

The artwork and music also serve as a tribute to his partner, Pingo, who passed away earlier this year.

Art is the only defiance against impermanence and a rebellion of the soul against decay.
While life drifts forward in endless cycles, we hold the power to break the pattern.
To do so, we must transcend the limits of this dimension, through art and reshape the Apocalypse, not into a collapse… but a culmination.
A beginning, disguised as an ending.

Otto Lilienthal is a symbol. His striving for the conquest of the third dimension is exemplary of our innate human desire to transcend our seemingly two-dimensional lives, with often just a vague idea where this might lead.

For Lilienthal it led him to his death, where he met Ouroboros, the serpent biting its own tail, and realized who he is.

For us it can be a hint - guiding us inward into the great halls of sacrifice, where we too will learn to recognize the taste of our very self.

The husk strenuously takes flight, the core remains everywhere, knowing.

Message from the artist:

I dedicate this album to my family, dear friends, and particularly one special cosmic brother, an artist and poet, who has departed from our physical realm. The inspiration is drawn from our experiences of love and friendship lulled by the majestic effects of unfiltered psychedelia. The music reflects a key learning, to be spiritually reborn, you have to die. In this sonic story, postmodern and ancient sounds combine to form experimental harmonic structures and cathartic melodies, resulting in a deep, crystalline sound that imparts symbolic and sacred meanings to life and art.

Dying To Be Reborn

"Subterranean Tendencies" is a haunting and intense electronic auditory pathway dedicated to those listeners who have a tendency to journey through the depths of the underground. The ominous and brooding tone from the first track is set, with pulsating beats and distorted synths creating a sense of unease and foreboding.

Throughout the album, the listener is immersed in a world of subterranean beings, with the tracks taking on sinister and mysterious qualities. The beats are on the heavier end of the psychedelic trance spectrum, while the melodies are twisted and distorted, creating an unsettling atmosphere that never lets up.

Despite the dark tone, there is also a sense of beauty and awe in the music, with moments of ethereal and otherworldly soundscapes that provide a contrast to the heavier tracks. The album is a sonic exploration of the experimental aspects of psychedelic trance

Ipotocaticac - Babaji

This 8-track sonic voyage, titled "Dancing Through Duality," is a meticulously crafted auditory experience by Bhupendra 'Bob' Aswani, also known as Cyber Aghori.

Drawing inspiration from classical and ethnic musical roots, as well as modern electronic music, Cyber Aghori combines these elements with his deeply personal spiritual beliefs. Utilizing concepts of subliminal programming, the album aims to induce states of trance and elevate the listener with hypnotic rhythms guiding the dancer to remain rooted in the now while exploring the cosmos within.

The album focuses on emphasising the presence of the dualistic nature of life and existence and aims at causing stillness through motion and hence merging the music, the dance and the dancer into a unified state of equanimity.

This hypnotic psychedelic journey is best travelled consciously. The way out is in.

This project draws its inspiration from the Blues, a movement with its root in African musical tradition, whose musical form has become ubiquitous in various forms of contemporary music including jazz and rock and roll, with its impact on modern music tradition reflected in various spaces of electronic music as well. 

Subterranean is a reference to an inconspicuous mode of message delivery, the importance of the message over the messenger. 

Subterranean Blues is a tribute to isolated and uncommunicated artists, that continue to create and consistently transfer positive energy into our existence.
