This is a mix about someone I once loved but don’t relate to anymore, originally released on a platform that does not wish to be named. It has, at times, felt too painful to even re-listen. And so naturally, I have felt incredibly dual and unsure wether or not I should re-release it.

It is also a mix I felt really embarrassed at the time to share. I remember asking my closest if it had ‘too much piano’ in it. Done in a love fever, a complete fantastical state of mind where you truly believe everything is possible and that love is enough. 
And that bubble was not only shortly after quickly popped but it feels impossible for me to relate to it. 

But you have been reaching out, over and over.
It is incredibly touching to realize how much this mix has meant to you all. I could only realize when it was no longer online. I received over a hundred messages asking about it and many more times in person. You have beautifully shared the context within which this mix has soundtracked your life and how meaningful it felt for you. And that has meant a great deal to me. A guiding light within a lot of darkness and internal conflict. You’ve allowed me to reconnect to the power of the message this mix conjures and, once more, to love it.
