'Stepgod' is the first track out in advance of our third solo release 'Skin Fading' EP by @firest-prod out June 8th in our bandcamp, soundcloud & in all streaming platforms.

Firest is the italian duo of gabriele dessì and alessio bologna. we first heard their music in a weird moment in our label's process. uncertain whether it would become a vessel for publishing more personal projects or a platform in of itself. from the first demo, Firest's unique spin on production, recruiting analog synthesis, sensual vocal samples and distorted n glitched out percussion, helped solidify our view. their composition is experimental, flowing through hyperpop with a gentle touch of club music, and somehow, it all just feels intimate.

in their debut EP, 'Skin Fading', they blend dreamy and melancholic melodies with gritty drums using different electronic music genres as their framework. the result is something equal parts oneiric and violent, frantic yet peaceful; a highly rhythmic and bittersweet atmosphere carefully glued with focused choirs and voices.

this vocal-piano-heavy mix is about being in love. trying to cast and express the plurality of feelings i’ve been experiencing these last months. it starts with two prayers that allow myself to feel, deserve and welcome this love. it moves onto trancey desire, bumpy playfulness, hoppy needyness, bassy xtc and euphoric gratitude. 
this mix was hard to record tbh these tracks never fail to make my body rock to the beat, impossible to stay fully focused.

MechaWorks is a journey through the insides of the Machine, first with eerie tones and meditative melodies and winding deeper, down, evolving into an exploration of boundless soundscapes where a vast extent of human emotion is paired with an electronically organic sensibility. several artists looking in through different lenses at the same intrinsic simulation.

it is a compilation of different artists, mostly based in Lisbon, making use of different techniques, softwares and hardwares, uniting under the same concept of the Machine, each producing a sample of a different facet of its hegemony.

MechaWorks travels into and through consciousness to connect with something below, something common, something unconscious.

ZZY - All The Things Vanish Like Ashes

This is my mix for 'transhumanism.exe', a virtual showcase by Postcarbon Collective through SORO Collective. With it I tried to explore the concept of Postcarbon by merging it down to my perception of what they represent and how that intertwines with my own vision of myself and the future even if dystopian. This mix is accompanied by a collage film I made from different selected media going from stock videos to official music videos by people who are big inspirations to me like Arca, Björk and FKA twigs. This will be available online soon. 

transhumanism.exe is a mixed media virtual showcase by Postcarbon Collective, a Lisbon based collective that is seeking to defy the very concept and limitations of artcraft in the symbiosis between Human and Machine; in their own words: "Postcarbon is a multi-disciplinary art collective unified by concept: A conscious experience of physical reality beyond biological limitations. As the catherine wheel of progress crushes underfoot those that refuse to move with it, TransHumanism rises among the survivors. The time to reject mortality has come.
