"Natura Notturna" is the debut EP by POST PARANOIA.
Through intricate textures and strong basslines, with an hypnotic and dark undertone on melodies, the artist, after a period of introspection and a large loss of files decides to put his paranoias apart and embrace the techno scene with his own sound.
The title references particular plants to which the artist is deeply devoted, especially during the late hours.

The title is inspired by the constant monitoring temperature required for growing a particular species of mushrooms.

After a difficult period and a challenging phase, POST PARANOIA is ready for his fourth self-release.
Detuned synths, sharp hi-hats, dark basslines, creepy resonances, and cutting rides are the recipe that as usual brings him to define his raw, mental and hypnotic style.
"100ug" includes one intro and two uptempo techno tracks where the artist, through a more minimal approach to music production, showcases a newfound self-awareness achieved through an hard introspection and strong resilience.

The title of the EP refers to the dose of LSD that psychologists administered to volunteers in the 1950s to study its effects and as a result, the tracks contain samples taken from old videos from that era.
In the intro, a dark and hypnotic atmosphere created through interweaving digital tape delays, low frequency oscillations on stereo field, slow basslines and various happy accidents, there is also a speech by the philosopher Gerald Heard, who briefly explains the experience he had under an acid trip.

As part of the new generation of young independent techno artists, Jonathan (aka POST PARANOIA) expresses his message through musical and visual narratives that reflect the real experiences that surround his life.

It’s not just club music; it’s a conduit for ideals and reasoning.
Basically, he believes that the dancefloor is a space where people can join in a collective introspection driven by the sound.

After years of dedication to the genre, he started to define his music style inspired by the productions of artists like Ø [Phase], Alarico, Altinbas, Ben Klock, Border One, Cirkle, DVS-1, Exium, Len Faki, Lewis Fautzi, Oscar Mulero, Radio Slave, Temudo, Truncate, Sleeparchive and many others.

POST PARANOIA’s techno is used to navigate through moments of storms, veiled messages, and lost memories. He embraces a mysterious mental vibe which contrasts against groovy rhythms and solid bass-lines, often driven by unconventional arrangements.

With several EPs self-released on Bandcamp, including two vinyls, he gained a strong recognition from well-known artists and key figures in the scene.
He also trained as a sound engineer through courses, real-life experiences, and direct interactions with industry professionals.

Actually, he is producing new music that will be distributed by Triple Vision.
The 2025 introduces a new chapter in his catalog that will push his sound in a new direction, but preserving the singular imprinting that has been built during the last two years.

POST PARANOIA fights every day for a more aware scene, aiming to give value and spread ideals to those who love to dive deep behind the artist.

"I fell in love with the techno scene 12 years ago now, and I kind of miss the way this culture was perceived. What I see today is a sort of general confusion about what is real and what is an emulation.
My goal is to bring back a vision more focused on the meaning behind the music, reclaim the attention to technical aspects and to the ideals that drive every artist to continue creating each day, aiming to join a solid community made of people with strong values.”
