our youth grows in a wasteland is a three-part audio project taking us into a young person's landscape and their experiences of outdoor spaces in Stoke-on-Trent during 2020. 

PART 1: IAN // In June 2020 Hanley Park saw the first Black Lives Matter demonstration in Stoke-on-Trent. IAN is a verbatim account by youth activist and performer Ian Ikuesan (Stoke Memes) of his experience making the protest happen. Recorded onsite in Hanley Park in September 2020.
