"The Convent" is a richly atmospheric instrumental work by Magnus Moone, an artistic identity of composer and producer Wolfram Gruss. The song of the Humpback Whale contains complex structures that can be hours in length, and while it is ever changing and evolves each year, every whale across the ocean sings the same song together, at the same time. 

The songs gradually become more complex and embellished, until one point where, in an act of collective revolution, the song is replaced, with one that is much more simple.
