UK tech house titan Jey Kurmis is back on the warpath with Coil, a heads-down club heater that wastes no time getting into the groove. We’re buzzing to premiere this one, because trust us, it hits hard.

If you’ve been anywhere near a sweaty booth at Paradise Ibiza or caught one of those late-night rinsers on Hot Creations, you’ll already know Jey’s not here to mess about. He’s built a rep off slinky drums, warped basslines, and those cheeky little percussive tweaks that DJs eat up. Now, he steps up for his Witty Tunes debut, and the results are lethal.

“Coil” is a no-nonsense roller. Tight, punchy drums. A hypnotic vocal loop that spirals deep into the night. Twisted synths and tension that just won’t quit. You can smell the smoke machine and feel the strobe in this one. Straight-up basement pressure, built for the heads.

On the flip, “Treetops” doesn’t let off. It’s got a grimy little swing and some off-kilter funk that keeps you locked. The kind of track that sneaks up on you, then smacks you sideways just when you’re feeling brave on the dancefloor.

This is Jey Kurmis doing what he does best. Club-focused, groove-obsessed, and built for those “where the hell am I?” moments at 4AM.
