Rameau Velez, aka Pounces, was born and raised in the Caribbean, and always brings a globally-influenced style to his productions and DJ sets. Named after a classical composer and born into a family of musicians, Pounces has a wide-ranging musical palette that spans across genres and cultures. Now based in Denver, he's part of a trio called Haus Catz that's quickly emerging as one the city's premier underground electronic acts, with support from Baltra, dameeeela, Martyn Bootyspoon and DJ Plead. 

Pounces' latest EP "Morphing," out now on Yung Dumb Records, has garnered support from Laurent Garnier, Jamie Jones, SHE Spells Doom, and more.
