Rameau Velez, aka Pounces, was born and raised in the Caribbean, and always brings a globally-influenced style to his productions and DJ sets. Named after a classical composer and born into a family of musicians, Pounces has a wide-ranging musical palette that spans across genres and cultures. Now based in Denver, he is part of a trio called Haus Catz that is quickly emerging as one the city's premier underground electronic acts, with support from Baltra, dameeeela, Martyn Bootyspoon, DJ Plead, and more.
