"Comme par désenchantement" a toutes les apparences de la chanson négative chère à certaines âmes "torturées".
Le beat lourd, réminiscent de Joy Division, et le phrasé désabusé du non-chanteur qu'est Duvall.
Mais il y a de réels rayons de soleil qui illuminent les vitraux de cette sombre cathédrale.
La douceur de Coralie Clément, contrepoint délicat à la voix rauque du vieux parolier.
La guitare qui finit par relâcher les tensions accumulées le long du morceau composé et arrangé par le décidément très créatif Miam Monster Miam.
Et ce glockenspiel clôturant l'histoire, comme si un enchantement nouveau naissait des cendres du précédent arrivé en bout de course.
Et si après tout cette complainte un brin désillusionnée n'était qu'une jolie chanson?
