We want to introduce to you Irish DJ/producer duo Deciduous, who are taking charge of the 16th EP on Release Your Mind with their slick signature sound across the two tracks on the release.

Reality Breach is a driving house cut with stripped-back drums and percussion. Grating pads add scale and soft, pulsing synths take you deep into a late-night world. Eventually, more raw textures and edgy pads arrive to take things to the next level. Theia then shows a different side - the grooves are more direct and peak time with pulsing techno drums and rumbling synths. It’s a track that has overtones of trance with compelling kicks and bass all taking the crowd on a trip.

My Aunt Dolores was a 2nd mother to me, she was my bestfriend from the Baby Boomer generation. We shared everything, and I mean perhaps TMI. I knew I could call her whenever I was slipping down the slopes. 

I wasn't there for her during her last excruciating painful year of 2022, too much pain & pride from accusations on Xmas 2021. She left me a final message that you hear in this tribute. 1 missed call on the 1st morning of 2023. I searched, it was her, and I decided I would call her for her Birthday on January 17th. 

When I heard she had a stroke and her time was coming I called her on the 13th, I sobbed and I sobbed sharing how much I loved her and how sorry I was for abandoning her the last year as her daughter held her phone up to her ears. I was told her eyebrows moved as a sign that she heard me. 

She took her last breath a few hours later. My only hope is that she truly did hear me and knew that our love was everlasting. I will never have the closure of hearing her laughter or voice again in this world, and for this I must carry the painful weight upon my shoulders until the moment I perish.

I wasn't the nephew she needed, the bestfriend she believed in or the son to soothe her spirit into transitioning as she literally deteriorated into death. For this my soul will never fully smile again.

If there are only 3 major important life lessons then this is surely one of them...
