Monsieur Napoleon Lafayette has always been a man to criticize things, be it under-talented cleaning ladies to the current output of local radio stations. Power Lazy is the result of his most recent complaint: the observation that all pop 'rock' bands seem to have forgotten their distortion pedals at home. The modern rock bands "seem all too happy to whine and shout about everything. So why in the name of all things good have they left their balls and vaginas at home?" The remedy, according to the ambassador himself is Power Lazy, pop songs at heart, with a distortion pedal doing it's bloody job. "When you complain without conviction, it's like sleeping with Margaret Thatcher, which is a disaster in itself, and then begging her to fix you a Latté in the morning. In fact, it's no blighted surprise that your lady left with that handsome bloke in the turquoise and ornamented spanish shirt complimented by a striped blue and white blazer. And pink pants because it's just plain ridiculous. That's me".
