Black women in totality are the givers of life, mediators, counselors, prayer warriors, melanin goddesses, activists, etc. On many levels the world has involved and revolved around the woman, in yet, so many people devalue the ideal of one. We grow thicken skin when being called out of our names. 

We juggle our many roles, hats, labels or whatever you may call it. We’re ridiculed for our hair choices, our dialogue, and relationship status. We’re constantly in competition with one another, for a job, a significant other, and a particular lifestyle. We tackle all of these things with style and grace...  The Power of Black applauds all of the women out there...
