Our first offering from Westival comes from Cardiff born, Manchester based DJ, Rhod Parry. Local legend and esteemed selector for daytime, 
night & the early hours, his notable vinyl collection spans the genres and ages, effortlessly blowing any dancefloor in his line of sight to pieces.

Rhod’s 90 minute vinyl-only set at the Dome set the tone perfectly and the bar high for the weekend. Flash back to July with us as Rhod Parry clears the path through the Tenby hills, with enough roll to maintain a steady momentum for the vibrant weekend which followed 🔴

Earlier this year, we were invited by our Westival family to take on our first stage takeover. Featuring a state of the art 360° grid booth powered by d&b audiotechnik and the immersive production to match, we welcomed two names who possess a finely-tuned affinity for crowd captivation.

Flying the flag for Liverpool’s well-nourished club scene, Aerofunk + 4D rolled through with their irreplicable sound of bubbling alien funk to entice the crowd through the musk of the night. The Dome was alight witnessing first-hand synergy, amplifying the whispers of Aerofunk b2b 4D as they ricochet through the valleys and spread across the underground.

Welcome to the debut of our weekly REC.ROOM LIVE series broadcasting from GigPig Studio, MCR.

First up, GLOCKTA took us on a 2-step tour of his signature lushly-tinted UKG flavour with the captivating vocals to match. Unrivalled head-boppers from the York-born, Manchester based producer.

Taking over from GLOCKTA, Unity Radio resident and an icon in the multi-genre scene of the city, SHADEV kept our toes tapping as she threw down everything from Huerta rollers, Ghoulish riddims and all the house and garage between to piece together the puzzle of a standout debut on REC.ROOM LIVE.

Week 2 of our new REC.ROOM LIVE series saw us welcome Malissa and Alien Izz, both residents for Sisu, a 30+ strong collective of artists, creatives and DJs based out of Liverpool.

First up, founder and resident of Sisu Malissa showcased an array of lush, warm House grooves before catapulting into a finale of wobbly acid numbers with an electro garnish to match.

Closing us out, Sisu resident and label boss of Space Bunny Records, Alien Izz flicked on the boosters and headed for psychedelic and progressive trance, navigating the outer rim for an anthemic finish to an otherworldly evening spent live in the REC.ROOM.

This week on REC.ROOM LIVE, Lapalace & Durie (Skiptrace) took to the airwaves for our third round of the series.

With Lapalace’s upcoming release on Skiptrace VA ‘Iridescent Acid’, this was the perfect moment for Lapalace to showcase her love of hazy leftfield bass, techno and breaks live on the channel.

We are back with the first recording of our latest collaboration with Beeyou Records and their standout hosting of the Walled Garden stage at fan-favourite coastal retreat festival, Gottwood.

Last year saw the London collective and record label splash the vines of the Welsh countryside with their mischievously inviting aesthetic, featuring a line-up dripping with next-up and established party favourites. 🍯

Residents and label runners Just Jam and ADMNTi detonated the afternoon slot on that mystical summer Sunday, head-to-head for 3 hours of elbow swingball as the patrons locked in for one last trip down the rabbit hole at Gottwood ‘24.
