Some tracks just happen… 

I grew up listening to The Doors, and Riders on the Storm was always one of my favorite tunes of all time. 

During my first experimentations with playing a full live set, I found myself playing this melody on the saxophone, then I looped the harmony and used a baseline from another track called “Darkness” to bring it all together… that’s how “Riders on the Storm” - the instrumental version became a part of my live sets everywhere I go… 

After playing it a bunch, I felt like it deserved a proper production & recording. 

I played around with it a bit, and it just didn’t work for me with the saxophone. I felt the vocals were missing… I tried to use my own voice but that also wasn’t a good enough representation of the song, so finally, I hit up Nachum from @Automatictoys, and the rest is history…

Sharp snares and a monstrous bassline are the core element of ‘The Afterparty’, whilst an infectious vocal chanting “I don’t wanna stop right now” identifies with its after hours vibes. Meanwhile ‘2 to the 3’ is a bouncy dancefloor weapon complete with a heady hook and blissful breakdowns that ties up the release in expert fashion.
