After months and months of constant experimenting and studying, "Awakening" is finally live.

This original means so much to me, not only because of how much I've learned working on it, but because as the track states, it is an awakening. An awakening of the sound and vision of Ra.
Since the start of this project, Ive had this story in my head. A story I hope to bring to life with my music. The artwork designed for this track is the first piece of that story.
In my story, Ra is not a God, but a being of advanced technology. So advanced that the ancient Egyptians perceived him as a God. In this version Ra left the earth to go into a deep slumber after a great tragedy occurred. In art work, you see his Sarcophagus in a chamber of his ship. The time has come for his return. For his awakening.
I have always been a nerd and as you can see that will never change. But that sense of imagination is what drives creativity and I am proud to have it.

I really do hope you all enjoy this track. It is my first attempt at fusing the biggest influences for my vision. Seven Lions, Linkin Park, and Hans Zimmer....with a touch a of middle eastern influence. Share, Like, Repost support this track however you see fit, but only if you really dig it.

Ra - Awakening (Ft. Adara)

The first time I saw Adventure Club was September 27, 2012 at the first Counterpoint festival. I remember being instantly blown away by their performance, so much so that when I got home I went through their entire discography and I've been listening to them ever since. 
Flash forward to March 13th, 2015 when I got the opportunity to open for them in Charlotte. They came out of the green room to the stage, Leighton grabs me, turns me around and tells me I'm killin it! As you can imagine, that was yet another moment that left me in shock. 
To say that I am thankful for their friendship and support is understatement. These guys had no reason to support a little guy like me. I wasn't even good at producing back then, yet for some reason they did. And because of it, my drive to succeed multiplied. 
So when they gave me an opportunity to remix one of their tracks, there was no way I was going to disappoint them. I worked so hard on this track and I am unbelievably proud of the out come.
