Madison Marriage is a journalist at the Financial Times, and went undercover in January 2018 to rip the lid off the secretive all-male dinner, the Presidents Club. Lauren talks to Madison about the reality of exposing bad behaviour, and what’s changed for women in the workplace one year on from the scandal. She also provides her top tips for landing a great job in journalism, and futureproofing your writing career.

Liv Little is the founder of gal-dem, the magazine for women and non-binary people of colour, which she started while still at university and has grown into a unique publication with huge collaborations. 2018 was a big year for gal-dem, with a takeover of the Guardian Weekend, a pop up bookshop, and somehow Liv is still only 25. She talks to Lauren about freelancing for Elle and the BBC while running gal-dem, thoughts on building brilliant teams, and her advice for creating a magazine.

Frances Costelloe is a creator from London selling her instantly recognisable pieces in Liberty, and has worked for fashion designer Bella Freud as Studio Manager, Brand Manager and now as Lifestyle Manager running the interiors side of the business, with stints at other fashion brands along the way. Lauren talks to Frances about the instant nature of feedback on Instagram, her multidisciplinary approach as a creator, as well as bringing designs to life via the medium of scent.

AllBright comprises a women’s members’ club, an online academy and a magazine, and was founded to create opportunities for women to grow and flourish. In this episode Anna tells Lauren about people's mixed reactions when she quit as CEO of Hearst, the stories behind launching Grazia magazine, and the need for a sisterhood to support you in your career.
