Riff slinging, Guinness sipping, garage punk rockers Dimes are venturing back out from the
hidden boozers of Birmingham to release their brand-new single “Trickle Down Hate” on
Friday 13th October. “Trickle Down Hate” further encapsulates the signature Dimes sound
of heavy riffs, punchy lyrics, and drums that kick like Leon Edwards, picking up where they
left off with their single release of “This Is It” back in March.

“Trickle Down Hate” is the second instalment in Dimes’ collaboration with the wizard of
production, formally recognized as Gavin Monaghan, who has added his unique touch to
the track. Musical inspiration ranges from the likes of Queens of the Stone Age and Black
Sabbath to Slow Thai and local legends The Streets.

Dimes have racked up radio support from the likes of BBC Introducing and Brum Radio, as
well as playing notable gigs alongside Californian psych rockers Frankie and the Witch
Fingers, building a following with their raucous live shows. “Watching Dimes is a communal
experience – they’ve quickly carved out a real niche in the Birmingham music scene” –
