DopeGems upcoming album "Necksnappin" to be released on March 28.

These guys play real jazz-funk with an hip hop attitude. As their band name says, they only play cover of Dope… gems. Rare tracks from the late 70′s and early 80′ from OST or valuable vinyls.
Their debut LP Necksnappin sounds like an amalgamation of dusty cratefinds in the basements of diggers and rap producers

I first composed this theme in 2013 for Cryamore's Kickstarter. Our game has come a long way since then--in the midst of development, we've been picked up by Atlus!

I revisited this tune with some new experiences that I've accumulated over the last couple of years, and worked with the wonderful Chris Woo and Kristin Naigus to record orchestral parts. The changes are subtle, but meticulously planned--I wanted to enhance the song while preserving the exciting, wide-eyed experience of composing for my first big game.

A huge thanks to surasshu as well, for the countless number of times he's listened to my tracks and given me advice and feedback!
