On NYE we created some serious magic at Zest Ubud! There were so many talented artists and creators who came and shared their arts and gifts. I’m not gonna name drop all of you, you know who you are...THANK YOU!! Also a big thanks to all the staff AND every one of you who came and shared your energy & presence with us on the dance floor(s)...Wow!! 

The set we put together for the midnight session had 2 dj:s (B2b me and Mr.P), 22 tracks, lasted for 2h and 2 minutes, was up on 122bpm and finished exactly 2.02am.

EU.PHO.RI.A | A NYE story by Poyan & Pierre @Zest Ubud - 2.0

We started the year at the heart of Zest Temple, our gates wide open to a collective dance, weaving magical performances to the music of exceptional artists. Our hearts sang so much that night that we ditched resolutions and took a pledge instead: bringing more music to our beloved island, curating intimate performances in our garden, setting space for Artful collaborations, inviting you to inventive & poetic events... We set our intentions for these evenings and called them the Zest Temple Nights.

The recipe ~ Music! 2 artists/2 sets all over sunset, flying in international DJs to play in the magnificent decor of our Temple land ~ highlighted by Zesty touches: warm lighting, white canvases (for the artists in all of us), elemental performances, soul opening musical healing.

First edition on Sunday 23rd of February with Jacob Groening (Cosmic Awakenings | Earthly Delights) visiting from Berlin.

Jacob's unique hybrid DJ sets infuse organic, gypsy, jazz, eastern, blues and soul with electronic elements. His performances are acclaimed in many destinations around the world. We love his music!

The idea was to make another one hour mix but somehow it managed to get over 2h. This one is probably my personal favorite in the Remedy series yet.
