The quaint seaside county of Devon is famous as the birthplace of the Cornish Pasty, the Jack Russell and hopefully soon, Poykin/Pojken. 
 
Poykin made clear his commitment to music at the age of four, when he mimed along to Michael Jackson so hard that he knocked himself down the stairs, lodging a metal spoon into his forehead.  
 
Unperturbed, he dedicated himself to creating a livelihood from music, drumming his way around the UK and beyond for a varied spectrum of bands and artists before discovering the well-known therapy of songwriting. 
 
Inspired by Bon Iver, Nova Amor, Sufjan Stevens and the overflowing love from his young son, Poykin uses ethereal electronic folk to sketch the journey of a father finding his feet.
