I like this little phrase, that comes back every now and then, clever!

Just Do It!!!

This Waylon Smithers song was made no later than in Spring 2010 in about exactly 3 days because the infamous tyrant of the SF performance scene, Bryan Dini, decided that he needed a song made out of a Walt Witman poem or possibly Oscar Wilde poem (I believe). Basically, he presented a challenge to two very 'self challenging artists - Rahni Simpson and Sam Kehl.' Since they always accept a challenge, they did it and put a lot into it - they were proud of the recording in particular. Sam sings more in this song than he usually does, and sounds a bit different than usual. Hopefully it works - experimenting has been a bit part of this project strictly driven by two very opinionated, different, and similar people. (that love the hell out of each other because they can't believe anybody somebody else can keep up with each other on the same musical mindscape that they can feel and understand, but not necessarily define in words. An 'understood' connection more than one of rules and barriers.

In December of 2010, I got together with two good friends one day and we made this song together. Thomas Erak played guitars and is the first vocalist. I played drums and sing second. And Ashley Mendel played bass and sings last. Great times with great people. I drink for a reason! Enjoy.
