I heard the original Re-Jazz album version the first time i played at Cocoon club in Frankfurt, C-Rock partner of Mathias Vogt (Re-Jazz) in Motorcitysoul production team played to open the night and i was very shocked, it was still demo and Matthias gave me the cd, i arrived home and i re-edited it adding new beats to get it more housey, i sent it to him and he liked, he sent me the parts and i remixed it with pleasure.

Our favourite Italian trio return for what will be their seventh SCI+TEC instalment and their first since 2013’s ‘Black Ball EP’. The Dolphins are some of the original and oldest members of the SCI+TEC family having first released with us back in 2008. Their stock soon rose and it wasn’t long before the likes of Boxer, Toolroom and Suara were all casting their nets for music from the act. 

Their ‘Mutante EP’ is, for us, their finest work to date and bursting at the seams with its five groove-laden tracks. A feast of tripping tech that twists and tickles the musical tastebuds, morphing from the bouncing rhythm and synthetic squeeks of the title track and opener ‘Mutante’, through the bobbing buzz and growling stabs of ‘Rolling’, to the angelic vox, electro hits and snare rolls of ‘Abstract Chord’.
