The Mexican trio take this EP By storm. Stek returns again with 'Elemental Hero' Stek's original starts off with a nice kick and bass combo, leading into a nice synth pattern. The melody is nice and refreshing and non complex. The glass effect piano riff on the breakdown works well with the sub..... On to the second of the Mexican trio 'Allan McLuhan'. After putting out two extremely impressive remixes prior for Soyluesk & BatuHan - Galaxy 2020 and Stek - The Most Wanted, he is back to do some damage yet again.... this is mustard! Doing what he's starting to become renowned for Allan McLuhan is flying the flag high for the Mexicans. This is a Tech masterclass, stunning production, impressive fills and attention to detail. Good structure and builds, the changes of direction he brings are exceptionally good everytime. The breakdown is phenomenal and captures you....ready for what we all wait for. The drop bangs....impressive work. This works and we think will be another strong release for the Mexican Trance Producer. Last but certainly not least completing the super trio is 'Dahnniel'. Returning with his first involvement since the superb 'Ranger' he released with the imprint in 2018. Certainly finding his sound bringing refreshing beat sequences and acid lines. A nice driver from the Mexican bringing another different but equally driving release to the table. The Kicks are punchy and the breakdown sub bass pounds....the nice melody build and FX paving way for an acid line drop taking it a different direction from the original melody. The breakdown melody is glorious and will make you gasp for more with your arms in the air. Made for the dancefloor, this release gives you a bit of everything to fulfill your needs. Anthony Officer returns for Practikal Recordings yet again and this time it's with his first double EP. Broken Bicycle EP consists of title track 'Broken Bicycle' and 'Libra'. Broken Bicycle is another nice release from the young Irish dance producer. Solid and punchy kicks, crazy pandemonium in a track, but all culminating to make something that works. The bassline is addictive, and the sub bass addition in the first break is immense and the eeriness is overwhelming. A perfect breakdown for the track, with an impressive vocal sample running throughout and the lead sounds are effective too. 'Libra' a lovely addition to the release with it's nice Officer-esque punchy and inviting kicks. A good layering process throughout leading you on a bit job.
