We Are The Brave celebrate their 88th release with a stunning four track EP from Montpelier based producer Paul Roux.

Creating a stunning fusion of live instrumentation and electronic craftsmanship, Roux uses analogue textures and industrial percussion to create cinematic soundscapes with driving energy.

"Emperia" brings the energy with rave inspired synths and a computerised vocal that together create a dystopian vibe driven by a pounding kick drum. "Loveland" has a fast-paced groove and explosive percussion that combine with poignant synth chords for an epic ending.

"Cosmic Blues" and "Craft Control" are best described as sunset techno due to their combination of melancholic atmosphere underpinned by rolling percussion to create a compelling dance floor experience.

BITE welcomes one of the most prominent talents from Georgia, Tbilisi’s fixture and KHIDI resident – OTHR.

The Georgian artist has already been making waves in Berlin by joining forces with Ancient Methods on occasions like their stellar b2b at the first BITE label night at Berghain last October.

With a background as a guitarist for metal bands, OTHR’s post-punk upbringing is ever-present in his moody productions. His earlier output ranges through a wide variety of sound, from acclaimed ambient to noise releases, while OTHR’s present style is defined by industrial-oriented techno, mutated vocals, and groovy distorted baselines.

With his debut release on BITE – Scythe Of Vyse, OTHR is doing what he does best. The EP delivers five sharp and powerful industrial techno tracks that sound both harmonious and rough. Rhythmic and heavy-hitting, the record features a remix from Kris Baha and provides a variety of tools for dark, sweaty basements. In short, OTHR’s most recent work is certain to create a setting for a cathartic dancefloor experience.

I made the remix in Ibiza over the winter. His piece of art I transformed to a piece of allien dance floor ufo art. Karl Schwarz is a techno artist who grew up in Berlin and lives there ever since. For the last three years, he has not only been working on his own production of his music, but has also been able to gain experiences as a DJ in the underground scene of Berlin.
The sound of his sets and the self-produced tracks is rough and hard.
When producing and DJing, Karl Schwarz focuses on distorted sounds and dramatic melodies.
With his energetic performances and productions, he wants to unite the crowd.
Karl Schwarz first found his interest in techno and electronic music in the earlier tracks of Richie Hawtin and Marco Carola.
Currently, Karl Schwarz is working on the production of his new tracks and sets.
