Rafael Fernandez presents his first LP. This collection of 9 tracks is characterized by its eclectic vibe. Instrumentation and ideas are combined with care in this album. Funk bass grooves, soulful chords, whispering or barking synthesizers, and lyrics in Spanish make this album interesting for a street walk or midnight at a club. Drums, both organic and sampled,  sound powerful and complete in this album too. The original homemade flavor of house music is all over these tracks. This is for sure a solid work produced by an authentic group of Latin American musicians.

Mexico City producers join forces to bring a marvelous set of tracks. This eclectic but consistent installment of house funk, and disco is a solid statement on the scope of electronic music produces based in the Mexican capital. The instruments recorded for this EP sound lively, the groove is intense and round, experimental vocals are real and soulful, and the whole package feels good. Quite a good start for CMME.

Denisse Calixto is a dj based in Mexico City. She started her career 8 years ago and she got her first gigs in cities like Guanajuato and San Luis Potosí as well as their first residence in a Polanco bar called Lucky.
There, she got experience in genres such as House, Dance and Funk.
Since then, she has been performed in several spots of Mexico City and all around Mexico.
Ambient style producer, experimenting with feminine and concrete sounds, as a DJ she goes back to important phases of house music.
She was the founder of the creative studio called Open House that documents the scene in Mexico as well as promoting independent and underground events outside the clubs.
