What better way to start the year off than with 4 new tracks from 4 new artists. Leading off is Brazilian sensation Sterium. He's captured a raw groove and has yet to let it go. His track 'Satisfaction' slays the floor and you'll see firsthand when you put it to the test. Next up we got our 2nd Brazilian killa' MKJAY. 'Nu Funk' is a great way to set the tone of any set that is serious about getting the floor moving. EMUH graces us with 'Press Play', that blew us away from the moment we clicked that sideways triangle. Extremely unique and well produced, this guy has a massive future ahead of him. And last but not least, our good friends Black V Neck bless us with our closing track, 'See You Work'. Keeping that latin vibe in tact, 'See You Work' was created with the floor in mind, and it shows. We believe wholeheartedly in these producers abilities and welcome them with open arms to Kȯlmē Records.

Twelve years DJing, almost two years producing.



-What do you use to make your tracks?

-How and when did you first discover Dirtybird?

My friend Jake Lama brought me to a Dirtybird quarterly shortly after I moved back to SF in 2013. I've been snatching early bird tickets to every party ever since.



-Which Dirtybird artist would you want to collaborate with the most?

I love all the dirtybird players but Justin has to be my all-time favorite.



-If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you?

The Lego Movie. Because everything is a remix of made of smaller pieces, and we can make life into whatever we want! Also, "Everything is Awesome"



-What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?

Not sure if this counts as a concert but Movement in Detroit. House and techno lovers from across the world came flocking.



-If you could time travel, where and when would you go?

To the future, when we have floating dance floors and disco balls, and can fly to remote locations to rave under the stars. Flying cars would make throwing renegades so much easier, right?



-What species of bird best describes you and why?

An owl because I like to stay up all night. Hoot hoot!



-What does Dirtybird mean to you?

Dirtybird is on the cutting edge of the evolution of fun and wacky dance music. It's been amazing to hear how things have changed over the past half decade of being a fan. It's my all-time favorite label.
