6. Slain

Praetorian was resurrected from the ashes of three local metal bands in the summer of 2008, with Max Jacob (guitar), Eddie Carrella (bass), and Dana Lengel (keyboards) joining together in an attempt to fuse their own musical influences into one cohesive sound. The first full lineup was finalized with the addition of Charlie Geiser (guitar), Frank Torre (vocals), and Mike Pascale (drums) in late 2008.

The band recorded and released their first single, “Fallacy”, in January 2009. 

After a considerable period of inactivity in the later part of the year, Praetorian added both Rohit Gupta (vocals) and Andrew Lachs (guitar) in January 2010.

Praetorian unleashed their debut 5-song EP, "To Dwell In Darkness", in June 2010. The album was recorded at Killingsworth Recording Co. with producers Anthony Lopardo and Ray Marte. The band will be playing subsequent shows/tours throughout the rest of 2010.
