The origins of this popular and ancient 'shloka' seems to be something of a mystery, although I found one reference that attributes it to the Sharanagati Gadyam written by Ramanujacharya and another saying the origin is unknown, among other possibilities.  (The meaning is addressed after the lyrics.)  

This composition simply has one melodic part throughout the chant and opens with a bansuri intro by Steve Gorn. The track features Gina Salá joining Natesh on call and response vocals and also exquisite improvisational vocals by Gina. In addition to Steve Gorn on bansuri, it also instrumentally features Monnie Ramsell on esraj, Daniel Paul on tabla, Ben Clarke on fretless bass guitar, Ben Leinbach on drums and percussion, and Natesh on guitar, drums and percussion.
