Was just experimenting with Garage Band Loops and came across some Afghan, Turkish and Indian loops. They had a lot of energy, and so just felt like making an energetic rhythm. :)

This song was my first attempt of using Garage Band on iPad. It has some beat issues, but there is a reason for the derailment of beat in the end... it signifies the imperfection of life and love, and the tension between balance and free flow.

Love in Spring

Some nights are sleepless. I wrote this song using Garage Band, on one such sleepless nights!

Ambition

This instrumental is about the trance created in love. Recorded way back in December'08, I wrote this song during a stroll in campus. It had lyrics back then... but now I think the song is much better without words. The song goes by many names "Elie", "Magic in the Breeze" and "Isr and Zana Symphony"... each one of which is a different story in itself...

I wrote this song in a very inspiring time. Dr. Kiran Seth used to take our classes, and I was really amazed by his dedication towards everything he did in life! This was the same time when Barack Obama was being elected as the President of USA. This was my very first music recording ever, and I had just an hour to do everything from singing to instrumentals. While there are a million things to improve in this song, including some rookie recording mistakes, I cherish this song as a beautiful memory, of doing something in life, I thought I will never do- Becoming a singer songwriter with a Demo recording! :)

Together

I must thank the guitarist for playing the guitar so well. He played it better than I would have ever set it myself. That just shows how music can never be a one man show, its team work! I wrote this song seeing how my sister knows every latest thing, not through TV but through YouTube. She's the YouTube Generation! It was written during a time when Facebook was not famous.... otherwise maybe I would have written a song "Facebook Generation" as well. :)

YouTube Generation

It is just a chilled out song... that I wrote one happy day. I remember I used to listen to "The Beatles" a lot those days!
