V-machine is our pure sound, worked from the bottom up; we created our own samples by first using synthesizer sounds and adding vocals on top. Korg and Emu synthesizers, connected by old-school midi cables, were used all wrapped up to our Kaoss pad. This is a sample of a larger work... entire track will be out soon.

Down the Rat-hole was comprised of layers of elements: first, Krolik w Trawie provided the basis of the track on her blue Korg synth, then Autynomy slipped into the sound booth with wine glasses and spoons to create 'tink-tink' harmonies in the background; he then proceeded to rip apart two meters of hook-and-loop (American Velcro) for good measure. Ufonauta processed hot drum beats and played his one-string prototype guitar - containing one lone piano string. As Krolik was snoring up in the studio mezzanine, Ufo caught the sound of her snoring which pulls together the compilation late in the track.

Autynomy laid the foundations of "I am a Spirit/Being" with a slowed-down version  of a track he recorded previously - this can be found at the very beginning of the track. Then, Ufonauta supplied the power kick from our EMU Orbit 9090 that channels throughout the background. Ufo handed the microphone to Krolik w Trawie as she sat on the floor, and she improvised lyrics as they came to her; she had been thinking about nature and naturalness, but nothing more. Her voice has been filtered through a special reversed reverb to create the eery sound of a Spirit/Being in action.

The CAT 13 STUDIO in high East London can barely hold the splitting sound of synthesizers and spit-out-riffs on hand-made guitars of Prawn Sound System. P.S.S. is a three piece collective from Poland, Poland, and America composed of three sacred identities: U.f.o.nauta, Autynomy, and Królik w Trawie (Rabbit in Grass). They play alpha-minimal politico trance on blue Korg synthesizers, a Kaoss pad, custom-made instruments, and other vintage pieces of found equipment. The noise of a rusty house coffee grinder, ripping apart two meters of hook-and-loop, and a recording of Królik w Trawie's 10-minute snore are all used as samples throughout their tracks. Mixing the sound of Black Holes with Sea Anenome, they often look to the neighborhood elders of the Fountayne Road Community for advice on their sounds and feature good friends. They want you to visit them. "For tea and for kisses." Goodnight!
