Ever since his 1999 release Trocante Gramofony EP (Praxis 33), there had been talk about doing a follow up and around 2010-2011 Nomex indeed worked on an album for Praxis, the material for which was finished, but not compiled at the time of his death in 2014.

We compiled it as close as possible to what we think his intentions would have been and as to be expected it's a killer noise album!

The record will be pressed in a limited and numbered edition with a hand stamped label and sleeve as well as a 30x30cm cover graphic/poster inlay and postcard in an edition of 100-150 copies. Finer details of this may yet change/vary as we're figuring out the production cost and details. The image depicts the 30x30cm print insert. Details might slightly vary. A download code for digital tracks will be included.

We're looking at an August/early September release, more details will be posted as we move forward with this and other projects.

The title track of The Wirebug's 2019 album Factory Food (Praxis 57) is getting the remix treatment by [M], Killabomb, Kovert, Psychic Defence and and extended mix by Dan Hekate, aka The Wirebug himself.

A truly international line-up with artists from Kenya, Brazil, the UK, US and Germany is adding new dimensions to The Wirebug's own take on industrial beats and noise.

Dark Star was the title of the first release on Sub/Version, the sister label to Praxis for hard drum'n'bass and epic breakcore, a one-sided 12" written and produced by DJ Pure and Christoph Fringeli in 1997.
Long out of print this classic track is getting re-released as the A-side of Sub/Version 012, available from 21-06-2021.

Originally released in 1999 on vinyl in an edition of 700 copies, Mechanophobia (Sound System Mixes) came hot on the heels of their EP for Digital Hardcore Recordings, and is a milestone in the collaboration of Praxis with Alex Buess over the decades, starting with early releases on Vision and continuing until the present with The Pandemic Wargames Remixes (Praxis 58, 2020) and the first vinyl version of the 1994 classic Gyatso (Praxis 59/Skin and Speech 001).

Metatron: Seduction Pt. I (The Moment Of Seduction) [Praxis 8, 1994]

Twisted with Hate by Metatron is a track which was produced in 1999 using snippets from the 1993 Metatron track "Men Who Hate the Law" (from Speed and Politics EP, Praxis 4) with elements of harsh noise and some breakcore/broken beats.

Written and produced by Christoph Fringeli in DJ Scud's studio for the Adverse records compilation "Misanthropy" which was issued in a super limited CDR edition in (I believe) 2000, but never really distributed.

CF played this track in DJ sets and sometimes as a part of Base Force One live sets on and off in the last 20+ years. Parts of it were used as the "theme track" of The Molehill Report #7 in July 2022. You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/GrJ41gEJJks

A triple vinyl release was originally planned for a compilation with the catalog number Praxis 15, of which this track is a part of, but it has been in limbo for ages.

Nomex: Paroxism 1 [unreleased, from upcoming Praxis 60, 2024]

Praxis U.S.A. was a compilation originally released in 2000 as a double 12" on Deadly Buda's label Deadly Systems, at the time based in Los Angeles. Compiled by Christoph Fringeli with all original material by Base Force One, Hecate, Mechos, Kovert, DJ Scud, H & The Jackal, Nomex and the notorious "Something Violent" by DJ Scud & Christoph Fringeli.
The record was re-released as two single 12"s in 2006.

Here's the final track by DJ Scud & Christoph Fringeli, titled Something Violent which is a kind of remix of two different tracks in one, Something Stronger by Scud from Ambush 01 and Welcome to Violence by Base Force One from Praxis 27.

Slaughter Politics - Forest Fire (Praxis 21, 1999/2020 - limited repress out now)

A1 track of the vinyl edition of the 16-17 masterpiece "Gyatso" originally released in 1994 on CD only on Pathological. The band appears in its original line up of Alex Buess, Markus Kneubühler and Knut Remond, with guests including G.C.Green (of Godflesh) and Kevin Martin (The Bug) who also produced the release. Re-released in 2008 (again on CD) on Savage Land, this massive work finally finds a release on vinyl.

Praxis is a record label dedicated to experimental hardcore and radical breaks and other forms of challenging electronic music and noise. Founded in 1992 by Christoph Fringeli in London, Praxis is now based in Berlin, where we also run the Praxis online shop and distribution.
We also publish Datacide - the magazine for noise & politics in print and online.
