Entering into these verses with my imagination, I realise the tenderness of Jesus toward me and His desire to heal the hurt of feeling neglected.  Jesus sees me and does not neglect me.  He desires the best for me.  I am learning to sit at His feet and to know that He cares.

So, i walked into this house where it seems the Man of miracles is only to discover that i could only stare at him. But then he says to me with his welcoming gaze, come and join us, he did not bother about where i came from but rather was more interested in making me feel at home. so i walked to him and sat like Mary to listen. Minutes later i took notice of Martha, and i asked the Lord,why not we get to the kitchen and that way, you get to teach us while we help Martha. he accepted in all humility and off we went to the kitchen with Jesus. in the Long run however, i discovered that Martha, Mary and I were all sitting at the feet of Jesus listening and we all forgot about the chores. A lot learned from this passage. Thank God for the gift of thoughts.
