Years ago when I switched from metal to techno after listening to Tale of Us Error Error I decided that one day I would have the sound I heard back then and in some of my music I think I have already achieved what I wanted. I don't have any expensive analog instruments just a mediocre laptop and a 25 key midi controller so it was even more difficult to achieve that sound but I think I succeeded.

As the illegal Russian invasion of Ukraine continues, Dear Deer Music is back with another volume of the Fundraising Compilation for Ukraine with a fourth fantastic edition. This one collects ten superb tracks from artists like LeDie Juliane Wolf, Samet Zorlu, Alessio Cristiano, Joe Fisher and Gridlayer.

Crafted is first up from Andy Power with its driving late night beats and shimmering melodic work. Samet Zorlu offers another tasteful progressive house tune that builds in rich layers and Need More Time from Salahaddin & Gassan is a more edgy tune with sharper tech drums. Further cuts from LeDie, Juliane Wolf and Serval & Anomali keep up the classy melodic house vibes with lots of serene synth craft and deep rolling drums.

The final cuts from 2WES with the darker moods and swaying rhythms, textured and potent Tank Attack from Joe Fisher and Gridlayer and Dream With Me from Alessio Cristiano all round this collection out with real dance floor magic.

This is an important collection of standout music for a vital cause.

PREMIERE: Audio KoDe - Time Machine (Original Mix) [De-Noize Records]

For our next release we are glad to present the talented Spanish duo WO-CORE with an amazing original melodic techno track called "Rigel" + two out of this world remixes delivered by Ben Deeper & WONO.

"Rigel" is a powerful but at the same time harmonious track with a sweeping synthesizer that alternates with multiple organic percussions and top-notch notes that carry us to the climax of our experience. The hypnotic lines & vocal weave in and out and shifts in ambiance and frequencies unfold.

Ben Deeper's Re-Interpretation tells us a story that begins with an engaging melody guiding our ears through a mysterious atmosphere, in which rhythmic elements are progressively presented until we reach a small break, giving us the feeling that something extraordinary will happen, then when our guiding melody suddenly disappears and darkness takes over our horizon, organic percussions and dark drones sneaky carry us to the climax of our experience.

WONO's vision helps us activate a state of consciousness with a continuous and mesmerizing groove, in which an initially dark and shadowy atmosphere slowly transmutes into a bright dawn. The track explores melodic movements and strong tonalities, in a perfect combination of synth and bass, creating a melodic percussion that dictates the powerful rhythm.

WO-CORE - Rigel (Original Mix)

Magnitude Recordings proudly welcomes Sofia Deren to the label with her stunning debut double A-side release, Shattered Phase / Fractured Time.
