Every lover of Soca and Carnival currently has a look about them. No longer subtle, it is an unmistakable tremor of desperate yearning, reverberating like thunder in their movements, speech, and within the detailed plans they are manifesting for Carnival 2023.
The Precision Productions team feels it and knows there is only one solution.

Specifically, songs that answer those charged and echoing calls. Rhythmic fuel to drive masqueraders, as they indulge in the mesmerizing chaos that is Trinidad and Tobago’s most famous festival. 
Precision is ready to deliver all this and more for the 2023 season, and has joined with two undeniable talents to give listeners the release they need.
Strap in and brace yourselves… here comes the Collision Riddim!
Smashing airwaves and curling spines with “Big”, Olatunji sets a frenetic, yet hypnotic pace. Partly a tribute and definitely a call to the blessedly endowed women, the song was written by Kitwana Israel, and is simply irresistible. 
College Boy Jesse steps up next with “Congo Drum”, an instant fete favourite he co-wrote with Art “Drastic” Philip. This tune is pure seduction. Social media, TikTok especially, will be crushed with videos of limber bodies seeking to explore these enticing lyrics.

In a unique circumstance Carnival 2014 will coincide with the creation of a new "MINISTRY OF ROAD".	

This is the dream of Machel Montano and Precision Productions, as they team up with P.A.G.E and 1ndividual Aesthetic to launch the campaign for the establishment of this Ministry via the release of their Power Soca theme song "MINISTRY OF ROAD". It also marks the beginning of the King of Soca’s candidacy for the "MINISTER OF THE ROAD". 

The vibrant song, with its exhilarating lyrics, represents in the purest form, the voice of masqueraders, whose call for M.O.R will be soundly reverberated this Carnival season. A musical campaign has been built solidly upon one simple slogan, which embodies the manifesto of the movement:

"WE WANT M.O.R!!!" 
Essentially the MINISTRY OF ROAD’s mission is to execute the following directives received from our beloved masqueraders.

ONE

To expand the parade route and allotted time for masqueraders to overtake the streets for Carnival.

TWO

To alter the parade routes eradicating masquerader traffic, especially when approaching the savannah and alongside the Port of Spain General Hospital.

THREE

To increase the time masqueraders are permitted to occupy the grand stage.
 

The launch of M.O.R (MINISTRY OF ROAD) is only the beginning of this Carnival-long melodic crusade that will culminate on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th of March in a victory rally throughout the twin isles of Trinidad and Tobago.

There are times when the struggles of life make a soul feel as if tomorrow is too far way to come and the hardest moment is this one. They in turn remind us all that no matter the trial or tribulation our “Mighty Healer” is the Redeemer. He who can soothe any chasm of pain and put an end to any bottomless sorrow, leaving in place only the joy and jubilation that comes from praising His name.

In this release multiple Marlin Gospel Award winner, Positive, delivers a stirring tribute through a musical number that was meant to restore spirits. The lyrics tell a story of earnest praise and are filled with a celebratory energy that reflects the steadfast faith this young man carries within.

Precision Productions are behind this creative song, which is a sublime fusion of 90’s Dancehall, Calypso, and Soca. As the music plays the melody has a vintage feel that takes you back to a time when its delicate sweetness would effortlessly lift your being into a state of deep and sincere worship.

Nothing compares to or is more treasured by revellers than making joyful Carnival memories with those we care deeply for. This is a truth that Kerwin Du Bois alongside Patrice Roberts know all too well, and passionately express with true finesse on their track. Kerwin also co-writes this one with Aaron “Voice” St. Louis of Full Blown Entertainment, and working together they colourfully describe the poignant emotions these annual celebrations evoke as well as the unbreakable bonds they build.

These are transcendent pleasures, which are often taken for granted in today’s world. But for Voice, the blessing of being able to sing and write his own Soca song fills him with a sense of gratitude and deep-seated joy. Feelings he conveys clearly in every lyric and tone. His uplifting tune is pure melodic encouragement and an optimistic sign of things to come from this artist.

At the beginning of every Carnival there are always the same questions. What are you coming with this time? Who will you be working with? Will it be better than before? Every year we get them and today we intend to quiet all of the talk the best way we know how. So, in response to the inquiries already sent and those to come, Precision gives you, the "Lip Service Riddim". Smooth, with just the right amount of bounce and groove, the music gives listeners the sweetness Precision is known for, while adding some new twists and turns, which indicate the unchartered directions the team is flowing into.

Perfectly complementing the musical vibes is a cast of performers that represent the future vision of Precision Productions. On board is a balanced mix of young artists, seasoned champions, and fresh international voices that are taking their first true dip into Soca.

First up is Kreesha Turner who already has multiple albums, a No. 1 Billboard hit, and many nominations under her belt. She is Canadian born, Jamaican bred, and stands out with her eye-catching, cutting style as she vocalizes Dance, R&B, and Dancehall. "I Will Be Here" is her first ever foray into Soca music, and as you will be able to confirm on listening, the lady is quite talented.

Have you ever done something once and it was so good you had to do it again? That is exactly how Precision felt about working with R.City. Out of St. Thomas, V.I., and having worked with Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, and Justin Bieber, the team felt a natural connection with the gentlemen. This timely meeting of the minds ultimately resulted in a strong showing, for this their first time on a Soca riddim, with the song "Nobody Ready".

Talking about musical connections that seamlessly fit together, it was with great pleasure and the usual amount of fun that Akeem "Preedy" Chance dingolayed his way back into our studio. Preedy keeps surpassing expectations and giving Soca addicts, songs like "On The Low" with the sole purpose of keeping them in a constant state of rhythmic joy.

Respected as a writer, a producer, and in the last few years, a promising artist in his own right, GBMNutron expresses his saucy desires in "Rock You Out". Direct, spicy, and full of salacious overtones, this number describes a sexy Carnival encounter and the ensuing outcome we could all only wish for on the road and in every fete.

Meanwhile, "Feels Like Love" from K.Rich goes a step further and articulates the precious embrace of mutual affection. Using his charming voice and demeanor, this growing talent generously adds a special affection-driven lift to the level of excitement experienced during this time of year.

Now, there are a lot of heavy hitters on this riddim, and then there is the King of the Road himself, Machel Montano. In this, his first release for Carnival 2017, Machel brings to song his commanding stage presence. He demands an end to all "Lip Service", and instead streamlines his focus only on those who can and will back up their rampant talk in the most tangible of ways.

Usually when it comes to bumpers, quantity is preferred over quality. Not however, for 2017. Imagine instead, one wine that keeps you yearning for more in fetes, on the road, and for years to come, always enticing and spine tingling in touch and movement. The desire for that kind of experience was the inspiration for this C.L. Productions and Precision Productions release. Working in sync the two camps shaped a musical experience based on amazement, attraction, and probably a few lasting memories to give the world a song, which will stand brilliantly against the test of time.

Transformative in nature, the track inveigled Kasey Phillips to step out of his comfort zone of production work, and compose some of the lyrical content along with long time collaborator and esteemed writer, Patrick "Mista Vybe" Gordon.

The resulting addictive tune, titled "Under Me", then needed distinctive voices to relay what could only be described as its affectionate message. Using his inventive rapping style Jimmy October chanted, while K.Rich belted out honeyed tones, both of them using their considerable skills to sway listeners into finding quality over quantity this Carnival.

The tune is an inviting blend of Soca with a seductive international flavor that immediately sends hips into carnal motion.

It was September 1st 2011, when Precision Productions set out to change the way the world viewed and appreciated Soca music. The vision was to remove the seasonal label from Soca and show exactly how palatable our music could be all year round, when done right.

Almost exactly one year later, and with countless humbling accolades, including Groovy Soca Monarch titles from Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia, and Antigua, the Precision team, after a full year of steady fan-favoured hits, is once again inviting you to tune in as they set their personal work standards even higher and head assuredly into the Trinidad and Tobago 2013 Carnival Season.

“Wine Back”, the very first release for 2013, is a heart thumping futuristic Soca track, beautifully voiced by one of TnT’s newest but very talented artistes, K.Rich.

His silky vocals harmoniously meld with the alluring baseline, creating a harmonious jam that keeps your body grooving deliciously throughout the entire song.

The teasing witty lyrics and magnetic melodies were written by Patrick “Mista Vybe” Gordon who eloquently captured the precise feeling we all experience when the ideal wining partner is discovered.

As 2013 fast approaches team Precision continues their incredible musical journey focused on always producing premier tunes that will keep everyone hungry for even more.

The team promises that this is only the beginning and strongly suggests the world prepares itself for there is so much more to come.

Emotions ran high when the entertainment community heard that Skinner Park was going to be renovated. While happy that improvements were coming, the thought of not having the space for Carnival 2020 was tough.

Nostalgia reigned as old memories and unforgettable performances were bandied about; in the end though, one unchangeable conclusion came to the forefront.

Before we welcome anything new, we must pay homage to our cultural past.

Bearing that in mind, we embrace the sound of our history with Ed Watson and His Brass Circle's "Controversy", as we simultaneously pay tribute to the hallowed ground that will nurture our musical destiny.

Precision Productions is calling culture-lovers to come along, as we reminisce our way into the future with the Skinner Park Riddim.

Guiding this journey are three artists, who count themselves as quite fortunate to have come through local ranks on their pathway to now being treasured ambassadors of our heritage.

And so we begin at the very beginning, with Nadia Batson and her rhapsodic retelling of her first time in "Skinner Park". Spirited and heartwarming, this tune excitedly recalls our childhoods and the accompanying musical christenings on the iconic grounds, when our collective love affair with bacchanal first started.

Farmer Nappy pushes back and rolls us into a big people's party, where he is immediately ensnared by one waistline in particular. His tale of selfless wining voluntarism in "Roll Dat" is an experience we are all familiar with, and definitely look forward to every time we enter this green field of bumper dreams.

The current Road March King, Machel Montano, vocalises the exact response we all give when told it is time to vacate these sacred premises. "Leave Me" is both a pleading request and rousing demand in his track, as he wants nothing else but to be left alone to enjoy the bubbling female bounty before him.

Some may call it luck or chance, but as the riddim came together, each single effortlessly portrayed brilliant snapshots of the cherished moments that brought the legend of Skinner Park to life. Unquestionably, We will forever hold dear this incomparable arena that has chronicled our musical history, even as we eagerly anticipate it coming alive once again.
