Almost half a year after the album release and two months after its vinyl release, it's time for a remix collection of the 'Echoes' album by Pelace. The purpose behind the remixes was to connect electronica with the modern-day melodic techno. Precursor went a different direction with his electronica aimed interpretation of 'Deep Sea Dreaming'. A certain flow lead by the percussion and main synth made the basis of the track. Throughout the track all parts are coming together on top of this flow, which forms great synergy.

5 Years since my last Moderat edit I came up with a new one this year after I heard an edit from Ae:ther at a friend's event in Amsterdam. I was kind of hangover that weekend and decided to make another version of one of my favorite songs. I also wanted to experiment with some AI vocal isolation software to see where it stands today. This worked like a charm and in the end it only took me about 3 days to create the track start to finish. 

I mixed it a week later and recently I rebuilt my studio from the ground up so I could master it using a hybrid approach. Pretty happy how this turned out.

Early support from Ae:ther, Hunter/Game & more. I've shown it to the guys from Moderat but I think it is unlikely that it will be released as an official remix with my amount of followers. I'm happy with the result either way. 

Since I'm going to be focusing on releasing my 3rd album soon I will be giving this away for free. I hope you guys enjoy it!

We are thrilled to bring to the channel another free download in collaboration with @tokabeirut ! George (@g_b_s) made an amazing deep Melodic Techno track, which is downloadable on their page!

@precursornl rewrote the track into a blissful journey in which he shows his electronica side. The track reminds us of musical ballads from artists such as @antigone and @sebastianmullaert , in which the leads slowly evolve throughout the track. About halfway, Precursor's rework opens up and a new synth leads the listener on to an overwhelming climax that revels in emotion and satisfaction. We can't wait to hear this on festival speakers!

Precursor is an electronic music artist and mixing engineer with over a decade worth of experience in various genres, playing nationally and internationally touring with dj sets, live acts and audiovisual shows. He also worked as a composer for film with credits on Feyenoords' documentary ”Gimenez” [2024], and short films ”Dr. Geiger” [2023] and ”Vlucht” [2024].

He's currently working on his 3rd studioalbum after ”Wanderlust” [2016] and ”GLIA” [2022] on Swedish singer Sailor & I's Arvet Records. The latter includes an award-winning videoclip of the track Opulent which won a prize at the Art of Neuroscience competition in 2022.

Besides Arvet, Precursor has credits on labels like OPIA (by Olafur Arnalds) and Just This (by Hunter/Game).
