>> Side A focuses on sonic exploration throughout various types of ambient, drone and spoken word. Different types of instruments including distorted guitars, synthesizers, voice and lots more are used to create new worlds. 
>> Side B features more rhythmical and club-oriented tracks. Starting from glitchy beats and lovely chords and ending in bass-heavy bangers created for the dance floor. Always with an ear for sounds and rhythms that go beyond standard party mechanisms.

Skupina & mappa's latest show maps field recordings of birdsongs from different parts of Eastern Europe. 

The archive of Dr. Ország Mihály and Peter Szöke, two legendary Hungarian ornithologists, features some of the well-hidden gems followed by recordings of Polish sound artist Izabela Dłużyk. Mihály persevered in his work despite being blind towards the end of his life, while Dłużyk was blind since birth. Both demonstrate tremendous sensitivity and honed listening practice. 

Additionally, the show includes a recording from the compilation „Sounds From Dangerous Places,“ where Peter Cusack explores the sonic environment of Chornobyl.

This month we are honored to guest the Turin based artistic collective SPIME.IM for the second hour of the show. Those past years they managed to carved out a singular place in contemporary experimental music, installations and Audio/visual performances - exploring the aesthetics of digital reality through transmedia music projects. They blend cutting-edge technology, 3D art, and electronic music to craft immersive audiovisual experiences that challenge our understanding of identity and corporeality. Their recent collaboration with acclaimed pianist and composer Lubomyr Melnyk and cellist Julia Kent on «The End Of The World» garnered critical acclaim, including a notable performance at the Barbican Centre in London. Additionally, they are set to perform at the renowned Mutek festival in Montreal this August, further solidifying their position in the forefront of the art and experimental music scene. We can’t recommend enough to listen to their "Grey Line » Album out on -OUS Records and the striking visual work created for their track « Hint », in collaboration with Riccardo "Akasha" Franco-Loiri amongst other stunning works . <3 First hour duty is ours, from noise and acoustic music to high end club bangers and contemporary Rap/RnB music. For the second hour of the show, SPIME.IM will blast a fair amount of underground and contemporary experimental sounds covering a wide spectrum of sounds, creating a unique, elegant and personal soundscape.
