Famous gujarati song tari aankh no afini Originally from film divadandi sung by Great Singer Dilip Dholakia.

Dholakia shot to fame as a singer in 1950 with 'Tari Aankh No Afini, Tara Bol No Bandhani'.
He sung and composed music in 11 Gujarati and 8 Hindi films under alias 'D. Dileep'. Some of his noteworthy Gujarati films as music director include Mena Gurajari, Satyawan Savitri, Mota Ghar Ni Dikri, Kanku, Sat Na Parkhe and Jalam Sang Jadeja. He also provided background melody in Hindi films like Baghdad Ki Raatein, Teen Ustad and Private Secretary.
Dholakia inherited music from his grandfather Manishankar Dholakia, who was a Bhajan singer and pakhawaj player in Junagadh. He learned classical music from Pandurang Amberkar, the famous guru of Lata Manageshkar.
The musician from Junagadh worked with famous music directors of Chitragupta, SN Tripathi and Laxmikant Pyarelal as an assistant. He had also worked with Lata Mageshkar, Mohammad Rafi, Talat Mahmood, Geeta Dutt, Ahsa Bhosle, Hridaynath Mangeshkar, and others.
He had also acted in a Hindi film entitled 'Holiday in Bombay' in 1963. He debuted as a Hindi films playback singer with Kismatwala. He also sung for Chitragupta in Hindi film 'Bhakt Pundalik'.
