UK duo Nautica launch their label TYDE with a special remix project, showcasing their own take on 95 North’s 1995 cut ‘Let Yourself Go’.
Still young in their musical journey, yet with appearances in the books at the likes of fabric, DC10 and Creamfields already, DJ/production duo Josh Lewis and Caolan Savage, aka Nautica, have been turning heads over recent years as they craft and shape their take on the groove-leaning end of house music. Building on releases via PIV, elrow, Solid Grooves Raw and more, they now switch attention towards the launch of their own imprint, TYDE - a creative outlet from the pair looking to host material drawing inspiration from 90s house, UK garage and the deep house era of the early 2010s. Launching the label with a unique project, they turn their hand to remixing 95 North’s 1995 hit ‘Let Yourself Go’, with early love from Richy Ahmed, PAWSA, TSHA, Archie Hamilton, East End Dubs, Prunk and more.
“We’ve been wanting to start our own imprint for some time and have been waiting for the right moment to come along, and with the feeling around this particular track, we thought this might be the most fitting way to kick things off. 
 
We were digging through old records in the studio and came across the original 95 North track on KULT Records from 1995, three years before we were both born. We thought we’d put our own touch on the track to make it more fitting in our sets, and from the first time we played it out, we knew we were onto something. It was made around the time of our first TYDE party back in April, it got a crazy reaction, and it was then when we knew that this was the one.” - Nautica.
Skippy drums, rich stabs, and hooky female vocal snippets build and blossom as the pair’s slick interpretation emerges before employing further garage-leaning tinges and subtle melodies for a bright and crisp production made for big moments on the dancefloor.
