Over the last few years, Dublin-based Andrew Azara has quietly built a catalogue full of high-quality releases for the likes of Swerve Digital, Likeminded and MicroHertz. Because of this, it's little surprise to find that his latest missive - his first for French producer Politics of Dancing's popular imprint - is also a winner. He begins in fine fashion with 'There Comes a Time', a groovy and immersive deep house roller rich in addictive synth-bass, spacey chords, sustained synth-strings and short vocal snippets, before embracing a more classical, sun-splashed U.S deep house sound on 'Echos' [sic]. Arguably best of all, though, is the gorgeously hypnotic, tactile, colourful and loved-up goodness of future deep house classic 'Frontline'.

Lucas Alexander & Timmy P join up for some fresh tracks on the unstoppable Moxy Muzik, while a James View remix wraps up another vital package. 

Lucas Alexander & Timmy P are key parts of the Moxy Muzik family and soon play with boss Darius Syrossian at the monthly residency at Joshua Brooks. They are house stalwarts with a no nonsense but highly effective sound as this new drop shows. 

Trust is crisp, well-swung house music with real kick. The drums are tough and the groove has pent up energy that really draws you in as the loopy, echoing vocal rings out through the mix. A twisted and rubbery bassline eventually joins in to really take the party to the next level. When Darius first road tested it at Hideout Festival during his b2b with Jamie Jones, the place went mental and he knew right away he had a massive hit! 

Trust (James View Remix) is even deeper, with a faster, more seductive groove that is punchy and perfectly smooth for carrying crowds into the future. This remix has been road tested by many tastemakers on the scene and they have all said it's gone off! 

Last of all is the prickly Ready Breaks, a lively house cut with jacked up drums and nice warped piano chords next to subtle and soulful vocals for maximum vibes.

After releasing material on labels such as Stefano Noferini’s Deeperfect and Kaluki Music, the UK talent now makes his first outing on Revival New York as he serves up his latest single ‘Trip’ - backed by a remix from Tamango chief Yaya who also makes his label debut.
Punchy metallic drums and silky hats build on top of moody low-ends across ‘Trip’, with warped vocal snippets bouncing off funky bass licks for a vibrant title cut. Harnessing the original’s chunky bass, Yaya’s take delves deeper into darker territories, injecting a driving groove to take things into the later hours.

My House is a warm, deep house cut with plenty of bounce in the tight drums. Wooden claps and a sultry vocal are the simple but effective additions to make this one a real standout. Get Down then jacks the dance floor with prickly analogue drums and twitchy claps as well as some raw, brain frying acid lines to really rip it up. 

My House (Jean Pierre Remix) is a low sling and non stop groove for the back rooms. It had dubbed out kicks and icy hi hats next to creeping vocal sounds that make it perfect for mind and body. 

This is a tasteful EP of fresh house sounds.
