Premiere: Perky Wires - Sing It Back [Glasgow Underground]

zAr zAr's Lost In Control EP is next up on Brazilian label Namata Records and it offers two tracks of deep and dynamic house music. This artist is on the rise with recent gigs at Egg London and releases on label Quite Nice Actually.

It's Time kicks off with a super fresh groove run through with silky neon synths. Smart vocal samples and a 90s tinged bassline power the track along and cannot fail to get great reactions from the dance floor. Lost In Control is then a super cool and breezy broken beat trip to the stars. The clacking hits, rubbery bass and accented percussion all lock you in for the ride. Add in balmy pads and you have a timeless classic.

These are two more standout tunes from this fine new school artist.

We are pleased to present a heavyweight EP. "Your Mind" is the release of the great producer Daniel Meister who is accompanied by Jennings and Beneath Usual. With two remixes of pure quality.
The first original, which gives its name to the EP, is a perfect track to warm up the first moments of any podcast, mix or live session thanks to its solid groove and elements.
Meanwhile, English producer Jennings makes his debut on the label with a remix that brings out all his talent, where chords and bassline predominate and add movement to the original track.
Another newcomer to the house is Beneath Usual, owner of Microdive and owner of a unique sound, which is reflected in the development and display of sounds in this version that is worth listening to and sharing.

The next release on Frame Music comes in hot from Frankfurt, Germany, as Christian Burkhardt and & Chris Wood join forces on two original cuts - supplemented by a remix from Futura label boss Leon. 

Christian Burkhardt is an artist truly absorbed with the range of sonic possibilities. A producer not content with existing within the realms of House and Techno, but one that is determined to further-stretch their limits with his signature sound. Joining him on ‘Into The Wild’, fellow Frankfurter Chris Wood has been prolific since 2004 with releases on some of electronic dance music’s most renowned imprints. Adding his splash of standout character on the release, Futura label frontman Leon delivers a hearty remix to complete an impressive trifecta of underground delights. 

Opening with the title track, ‘Into The Wild’ is a gritty and minimal record with analogue roughness throughout and a fine celestial film coating. Progressing through the gears via driving drum work and layers of crisp, rattling percussive elements, its undeniably hypnotic aura continues to swirl from end to end with a flurry of different melodic components. 

‘Going To Get High’ comes next, bringing more hardware-laden prowess to your ears. Rolling rhythm and modular sequences melt together, dissected by layers of subtly rising melody and vocal ad-libs. Another progressive and underground dancefloor-geared record with the duo’s signature minimalist stamp featuring prominently throughout. 

Completing the release, Italian Tech House stalwart Leon fires in a boisterous and emphatic remix of ‘Going To Get High’. Focusing around potent cadence and a hooking bassline, it brings a distinctly delectable underground aura - inviting you to jump in and glide along to a persuasive ensemble of synth shots and rumbling sub-bass notes.

Acid Kids grace the Metafloor Records label with the lively 'Happy Place' EP. The release features two tantalizing originals, with melodic maestro THEOS and Newcastle duo Moonlit Vision on respective remix duties. 

Known for their meticulous production style, the West London duo treat us to a mixture of bouncy, evolving bass lines, chopped garage stabs and crunchy, groove-laden drums across the offering. 

Title track 'Happy Place' provides a commanding euphoric synth riff and peppers snippets of diluted acid house throughout. The infectious 'Baby Tell Me' offers a catchy vocal hook, coupled with the classic house organ we've all come to know and love. Certified mood-boosters!
