Brothers Craig & Grant Gordon came through on the remix, crafting a perfect groove for the early hours of the morning, their take on the track features spacey synth lines and open shuffling house drums. A statement of things to come this year for the label.

Haling from France, SYAP defines himself as a music lover addict on groovy beats, focusing his sound into the Deep and House textures. The newest member of Roush adds our imprint to his great back catalogue, where we can find top labels such as Nervous, Snatch or Green Velvet's infamous Cajual. During the years he has polished his sound palette combining effective beats with strong basslines with the right purpose of making people dance. This formula is felt on title cut 'Highly Addictive' where SYAP combines tech house beats with a rolling sub-bass. An effective percussion effects and vocal chops are added to maintain the peak time vibe. Making his debut on Libero Records, Australian artist Daniel Cuda delivers a statement piece in his ‘Steps’ EP. Offering up two original cuts, joined by Barcelona-based artist and label favourite Gruuve on remix duties.

‘Steps’ kicks things off with a striking combination of pounding kicks and subtle percussive groove layers - bound together by a rattling underbelly of rhythmic sub-bass notes. Truly underground in its aesthetic, the track uses cleverly modulated vocal samples to create builds that cut through its atmospheric breaks.

Gruuve’s remix offers a dubby and loosely-swung alternative to the original mix, adding an eerie twist to the clever use of FX in its predecessor. The key emphasis of the track is its rich analogue feel, which gives it an unparalleled level of individuality. Another attention-grabbing record to add unique flavour to any collection.

Daniel closes off the EP with an archetypal Libero number, rounding off the release nicely. Subtle, groove-focused with splashes of vocal presence and easy to digest with maximum effect. Blending a mix of Deep Tech and Deep House in sections, rounding off the release making it three from three standout tracks.
