'R0mantic' is a catchy number, underpinned by a chunky and bumpy bassline combined with an infectious guitar chord pattern, giving it a funky 80s feel and topped off with some snare drums building to an almight crescendo.

'Come Over' starts with a heavier bassline, skippy drum patterns and stabs, teasing in some sexy vocal cuts as the track progresses, building the groove and vocals throughout. A perfect afterhours groover.

'Game Times' oozes attitude from the get go, a groovy bassline married to some funky drum patterns finished off with a outrageous vocal cut which builds throughout the track. A heavy creeper suitable at anytime of day or night.

With previous releases on Knee Deep in Sound and Glasgow Underground, friend of the label Avesie steps up to deliver the latest release for the Metafloor Records crew. The London based producer delivers the 'Get Funky' EP which features three original tracks along with a remix from Nathan Inman.

Title track 'Get Funky' kicks things off with a heavy bassline and a stripped back, infectious lead synth line. The rich, low-end presence of the track is complemented with various bleeps and galactic-themed motifs which add additional colour.

Fresh off the back of releases on Rendr, Microhertz and Heavy House Society, stepping up for remix duties is Nathan Inman, who elevates the energy of 'Get Funky' into a driving break infused belter.

'1807' is a hypnotic, peak-time roller which also draws from a galactic sound palette, with all manner of lasers and glitches garnishing a groovy 909 drum pattern and moody melodic riff.

With its soothing bassline and a tight, ornately crafted drum groove 'Fearful' delivers mesmerising main room vibes to round off the package.

The title track, called 'Envy' dives us into deeper sensations having a strong drum rythm wich is filled with bouncy bass and atmospheric synths. Next up comes 'Funkaholic' wich is a logic continuation of the ep. The track brigs in firm deep vibrations of the Drag & Drop duo delivering an club ready track. The last but not least is 'Nebula' that continues in roughly same style. The track is filled up with deep stabs and atmospheres that design strenghth around the beat and give a chance to the synths to stand out.
