Solid Grooves welcome Romanian talent Alenzex as he makes his first appearance on the label with '4eva'.

A rising name within the Romanian house scene, DJ and producer Alenzex looks set for a big year as he starts to build momentum with support from a host of leading artists within the scene - most notably from label co-founders Michael Bibi and PAWSA within their sets over the past two years. A resident of one of Romania's most well-known venues Database, he now adds to his production accolades in style as he opens Solid Grooves' 2021 schedule with his debut outing on the label, '4eva'.

A hypnotic and infectious production fuelled by ever-evolving funk-tinged arpeggios and alluring female vocal hooks places atop of slick percussion shots and punchy kicks, '4eva' reveals an impressive label debut from an artist firmly on the rise.

Previously appearing on Resonance, Deeperfect, South Records, and more, Max Dean’s productions receive vast amounts of support from the likes of Michael Bibi and Jamie Jones. Now readying his first release for Jones’ Hottrax imprint, the UK-based DJ/producer drops two groove-laden tracks, marking some of his strongest productions to date.
Leading the release, the title track ‘Start Scream’ brings swung drums, bouncy basslines, and memorable vocal licks together for an undeniable groover. ‘Yes Baby’ follows suit, bringing another welcome house cut, peppered with spoken word and eerie synth hits over funky low end and skippy percussion.
