As summer heats up so does Andhera Records with a massive new release, Just a Line EP, by Sunday Noise and Paul Trelles, which comes with exquisite remixes from Mihai Popoviciu and Mallin.

Sunday Noise and Paul Trelles hail from Peru, and are forefront of the scene in Lima. Between them they’ve released on credible labels like Rawsome, Tobus Limited, Distance, Miaw and Whoyostro. 

The first track on the EP is Just a Line, where tripped out vocal incidentals combine with eerily treated vocals, layered on swirling atmospherics creating an edgy late night deep and hypnotic flavour. Next up is, You Hear That, with its shuffling highs, bouncing bassline combining with the atmospherics and effortless arrangement this is absolute groover. 

The third track on the EP is Mihai Popoviciu’s remix. Popovicui is well known from his huge releases on Poker Flat, Get Physical, Bedrock, Dessous, Bondage Music and his own label Cyclic imprint, and his inimitable style has arrived on Andhera. His remix is as you would expect from him, smooth, deep, and excellently executed. With a rolling bass, and filtered pads pushed into the background, this grows in a crescendo throughout the track to where the uplifting chords drop, and smiles rise, make no mistake this is a sublime remix.

The last track on the EP is Mallin’s remix of You Hear That. Mallin’s profile has been rising the last few years via string of hot releases on labels like Glasgow Underground, Inermu, and Oh Stockholm. For his remix he delivers a sensual deep number adding a melodic and uplifting touch to the original, with a delicate short sax sample to really give this an excellent end of the night feel.

This is an absolute must have release on the fast rising Brooklyn imprint, Andhera Records, and something you’ll definitely be hearing all summer long on the underground floors of the world.

4. Sunday Noise & Paul Trelles - You Hear That (Mallin Remix)

Italian House DJ and Producer, Leon, brings in fellow Italians, Proudly People for the second release on his new imprint, FUTURA, ad it comes with fire remixes from Luuk Van Dijk and Sublee 

Italian duo, Proudly People, have had a string of highly rated releases on labels from different countries around the world like Moon Harbour, Desolat, Elrow, Inmotion Music, Rawthentic, Moan and many more which has created the duo international recognition and support. They've not only toured all around Italy however all around the globe taking in venues like Amnesia Ibiza, Space Ibiza, Studio 338 London, Supermarket Zurich, Club102 Neuss, La Feria Santiago del Chile, Output New York, Treehouse Miami and many more.

The release comes with two remixes, the first of which is from the ever impressive Luuk Van Dijk. The Dark Side Of The Sun label owner has been rising consistently for the last few years with a string of heavyweight releases on labels like No Art, Heavy House Society, Solid Grooves, Do Not Sleep, Tamango and his own DSOTS imprint. On his remix, he takes No Sweat, strips it down to his trademark style beats, adding an old school flavoured organ bassline, and adding a touch of mystery with some eerie background sounds which combine perfectly with the other elements of the original.

Premiere: Proudly People - No Sweat (Luuk Van Dijk Remix) [Futura]

Cuttin' Headz continues to define the contemporary house landscape with another superb EP, this time from Toman. The Dutchman has been hugely prolific since breaking through and his unique take on house and techno has led him to much-renowned outlets like No Art, Moscow & Eastenderz.

This fresh new EP opens with Madrugada, a tightly coiled bit of tech funk. The kicking drums and razor sharp hi hats are detailed with cool female vocal stabs, whirring effects and dramatic fills that really make the track pop. Better Is Weather is a much deeper tune but one that still packs a punch. The super balmy pads bring a nice summery feel to the breezy late night grooves and hints of garage skip.

All in all, another incredible standout EP from all involved.

Moscow label boss Archie Hamilton links with FUSE label boss Enzo Siragusa to deliver their three track ‘Dubinnovation’ EP, featuring the dubbed out house ballad ‘Ricochet’.

Archie’s Moscow imprint has been in the game for nearly a decade, with an output leaning more towards quality rather than quantity. With the 20th release on the label he’s tapped his good friend Enzo to showcase a raw, beat-driven style of house that’s been the calling card for both artists throughout their careers.

‘Ricochet’ is a track that’s been tried and tested on dancefloors around the world by Enzo and Archie during the recent winter months, and is finally getting let loose. It possesses an infectious groove, booming bass and tripped out percussion that makes it a clear-cut dancefloor bomb. Pure gold from these two talents on their first original collaboration.

Also found on the ‘Dubinnovation’ EP is the title track along with ‘Transcend’, both following suite with a clean, rhythm-focused motif.

The ‘Dubinnovation’ EP is set for release May 12.
