An annual release that sets the tone for the year ahead, Solid Grooves Raw's 'Raw Grooves' series has quickly become a go-to for fresh material from both label favourites and new names, delivering a selection of club-focused cuts covering the Solid Grooves sound.

Picking up from last year's edition, the third instalment welcomes a selection of familiar and fresh faces to the label with Wheats, Kevin Corral, GruuvElement's, Luca M & JUST2 and VLTRA returning alongside debutants Alvaro AM, Sante Sansone, Lose Endz, Lucas Moss and James Wyler.

James Poole drops ‘Make The Dream Work’ on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax this December.

Following releases on Materialism, South Of Saturn, and his previous ‘Tuff Luck’ EP on Hottrax, UK-based DJ/producer James Poole returns to Jamie Jones’ imprint with another set of three skippy, UKG-influenced house tracks for the 99th release on Hottrax. 

Leading the release is the title track ‘Make The Dream Work’, which combines a catchy organ lead and soulful vocal samples for a bouncy opening track. ‘Ruff Love’ follows, upping the tempo with pumping drums and heavy basslines before ‘Too Cool To Dance' rounds up the release with stuttery synths and vocal hooks.

Having recently reached Beatport number one with ‘Urban Shaker’, Manchester-based DJ/producer Sam Curran readies three new productions for Jamie Jones’ renowned Hottrax this April. Gaining previous support from Jamie Jones, Sidney Charles, and Franky Rizardo, Curran is back with another bass-heavy production that ensures an impressive return to the label. 

The title cut ‘Twilight On The Terrace’ brings rolling low end and playful vocal interjections that create a rousing club track, while the bumping ‘Eric’s Rumble’ showcases a reverberating bassline in true Hottrax style, paired with dizzying drops and wonky stabs. Closing out the EP ‘NRG’ harnesses crisp hats, snaking bass grooves, and moody, infectious samples to journey deep into late-night territories.

Moxy Muzik is ready to roll out another huge release, this time from rising star SOSA, complete with a stellar remix from Mason Collective. 

Liverpool's SOSA has been busy honing his skills in the studio for years, perfecting his craft. He's released on leading labels Hot Creations, Cuttin' Heads & his own COCO imprint, gaining support along the way from house music's elite tastemakers such as Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, Chris Lake, Pawsa, & many more. Outside of the studio SOSA enjoys a busy touring diary playing some of the biggest and best venues across the globe including Red Rocks, WHP, Creamfields, Hi, Mysteryland & more. And now SOSA prepares to unveil his next offering in the form of 'Bring It Back' which drops June 9th on Moxy Muzik. 

Excited by the prospect of welcoming SOSA to Moxy, label boss Darius Syrossian shares his experience of when he first played out 'Bring it Back': "this was first played at my set in ibiza last summer for Paradise at Amnesia and it started a whole barrage of track ID requests. It was one of the biggest tracks in my set all summer after that." 

'Bring It Back' is a super cool and deep cut with balmy synth lines and a luring vocal hook. The drums have a dark New York vibe complimented with an extra fresh bassline. It's super catchy and is a cross between minimal house and garage that is destined to be a huge hit on the DJ circuit this summer. Manchester outfit Mason Collective step up to remix the record with their signature punchy drums, tribal percussion and tropical sounds that really bring the heat. 

Another massive release to be added to the always impressive Moxy catalogue.

Max Dean heads to Solid Grooves Raw for an impactful label debut to drop his latest single, 'Impressed'. The man behind one of the tracks of 2022 with the infectious 'Future Looks Bright' featuring house legend Mr. V, hotly-tipped up-and comer Max Dean is doing things his way and making some serious noise while doing so. 

A regular name in rotation for the scene's biggest artists and a favourite of label co-founder Michael Bibi's, he's stepping things up once again this summer as he heads to Solid Grooves Raw for the first time as he serves up another heavy-hitter, 'Impressed'. 

Bubbling up from the track's skippy percussion and red hot bassline, 'Impressed' is another record that sees the UK talent crafting a production made for big moments as rumbling lows, sweeping synth lines and hooky, alluring female vocal snippets all combine for another lively, peak time anthem.
