TBX Records is back and this time with no other than the very talented duo Perky Wires for their 'Lunasee' EP, which comes complete with a remix from swing-beast Reelow. The title track transports us deep into Perky's subconscious, setting the tone for the entire EP. Housy beat is combined with bouncy bassline, cosmic chords, and stunning voxes. This sound would work just as well in the main room as it would in the darker after-hours. Reelow adds his own spin with a super groovy remix centered on an extremely swinging beat and a lot of minimal sound design. 'No more fears', second Perky's original, is found on the flipside and, like the lead tune, focuses on a powerful dance beat and contagious vocals. Although it has more of a house vibe, this naughty tune has the power to ruin any party on its own.

Jampikid hails from Vohburg Germany, a picturesque town on the banks of the River Danube in the south of the country. With such a beautiful view it is no surprise Jampikid is able to dish out some great rhythms of which 'Apple Pie' is a prime example. Premiere: DXNBY - Stay True [Domus Music LTD]

With a base of Latin beats combined with an outstanding mix of Deep, Tech and Techno, Tex’s sound is unique and well-developed for a young producer, that's for Savia Park's release 43rd he makes his first appearance in the label.

"Of it" by TEX, is an EP with a trance-like atmosphere in the background amidst carefully selected percussions to produce the perfect combination of dance and hypnotic music.

The EP born inspired from nights of pleasure and wine, amidst so sexy vocals and progressive melodies, which are combined with a solid Tech House base, achieving pleasant and dynamic variations.

In the 3 tracks of this EP, you can feel the subtlety, the color and the movement that results from combining FXS and melodies, pursuing a rhythm that doesn't cease to be versatile, while maintaining a strong and accelerated groove, offering everything that the dance floor requires.

Premiere: TEX - Of It [Savia Park]

Surge Recordings has cultivated a reputation as a
record label with a hotbed of talent ranging from emerging artists to leading names in house music. This release is no different, living up to their name with a ‘sudden powerful movement’ taking things up a notch with a heavyweight remix package to complement this irresistible offering from Elléot and Andrey Djackonda.
The record starts off with ‘All I Want’ straight in with some tasty drum work and delicate vocals which build throughout the track, combine this with the warm and wobbly pads and dreamy synth work and you have a sure-fire hit!
Next up is ‘Back to Me’ coming in with swung and skippy drums accompanied by deep sultry vocal cuts, gorgeously jazzy piano chords and dreamy pads - a truly dreamy number oozing class and soul.
‘Thiago’ is an ode to Elléot’s newborn son. Kicking off with a light and bright organ before bringing in a snappy drum beat and vocals oozing attitude. Cap this off with an infectious and bubbling groove to underpin this beat and you have a tune Elléot’s newborn will be proud of for years to come.
‘Resku’ starts in a dreamlike state with a sample of the renowned angelic voice of Sade and the duo gives a generous helping of this gorgeous vocal throughout. The track picks up the pace with some trademark skippy drum patterns and swirling synth elements throughout. The outcome is a dreamy number perfect for the warm-up or wind-down.
Moving on to arguably the biggest remix package of 2022, with house legend Sidney Charles first up and his take on ‘All I Want’ bringing a funky uplifting twist to proceedings. Following on from this is East End Dubs bringing his inimitable bassline flavour to ‘All I Want’ coupled with some tasty grooves to boot. Cologne-based production maestro DJOKO steps up to deliver a beautiful remix of ‘Thiago’ bringing his feel-good house style to the remix sure to be a summer staple in DJ sets. Subb-an provides the proverbial cherry on top of the divine musical cake, with his dark deep chuggy remix of ‘Resku’ perfect for when things get weird and wonky in the club.

TRIPPIN continue their monthly releases, this time with label friend and rising star, Shane Mahon. With his last EP on major label THUNDR and highly supported by Jamie Jones, Wheats, Ben Sterling, Syreeta and many more. Shane Mahon is back again with a 2 track EP followed by a remix from Charlie Rice.

Wanna is a bassline assertive track, backed by chopped vocals with a pinch of attitude and a solid message, 'I'm right where I wanna be', a track that is sure to set the dancefloor moving.

Oh God is subby groove followed by glitchy synths with a deep gritty vibe, raw and authentic in its approach and gets straight to the point with continuous vibes throughout the track.

The EP is rounded off nicely, with a remix from Charlie Rice that provides six minutes of straight grooving, including super driven and rolling basslines combined with a range of different synths acting as the ear candy of the track.

Marco Strous makes his Revival New York debut with ‘Rain Dance’, backed by a remix from CHASE WEST.
Having surged into the spotlight with his single ‘Tip Toe’ supported by Michael Bibi, Diplo, Dennis Cruz and more, Portuguese-born, UK-based DJ and producer Marco Strous has steadily been delivering dance floor heat across the past two years via labels such DIRTYBIRD and Cocoa. Making his first appearance on Revival New York, mid- September welcomes the arrival of his ‘Rain Dance’ EP as he delivers two fresh productions, accompanied by a remix from rising US talent CHASE WEST.
‘Rain Dance’ opens the EP as Strous combines rumbling basslines, slick drums and powerful vocal samples to unveil a vibrant and dynamic title cut, before ‘Good Boy’ sees hip-hop vocals front and centre accented by warping synths further tight percussion. Closing the package, CHASE WEST’s take on ‘Good Boy’ ups the energy, drawing for powerful bass licks, suspenseful builds, bright lead melodies and tough kicks.

Sidney Charles' and his Heavy House Society add yet another up and coming talent to its roster as they welcome Mattisou to the label.

Bringing the funk from the Netherlands, Mattisou is a great new addition to the HHS family. Obviously heavily supported by the label boss himself, his productions have gained the respect and attention of most of the big players on the global dance music scene. 

This 4 track quality EP starts off with 'Coming For U'. A funky groover that is irresistible not to shake your booty to. As the track gains speed the huge bassline, the tight stabs and the interesting vocal cut makes this track the perfect way to start off this EP.

Next up Mattisou brings us 'Incognito', a strange name for a track that is as far away from incognito as you can get. With is strong and imposing bassline this stands out amongst the crowd way more than it should for a track of this name. 

At number 3 of this 4 tracker we have 'Ottawa', a track that is as cool as the capital of Canada. With another big rolling bass line and this is funky through and through, making this track one that is sure to be a staple in DJ sets around the globe. 

Last but not least, Mattisou brings us 'Change Of Course' even though, he stays true to his trademark funky groove, that sooner or later collides with the bass line and will get everyone into full flow on the dance floor.

Tamango Records' long-awaited 20th release comes from British DJ and producer DeMarzo, who brings his extra-fresh funky sound to the label for the entitled 'Lock Stock' EP. With an impressive streak of successful releases on labels like PIV, NO ART, MicroHertz, and Cecille, among others, it's no surprise that his infectious vibes got the attention of label boss Yaya, who's been hammering these two originals during each of his last shows.

Opening 'Lock Stock' radiates with DeMarzo's signature energetic sound, as groovy vocal chops, wide drums and pounding kicks are mixed with a bold bassline and devastating hands-in-the-air leads. On the B side, 'Some Grit' keeps the funky vibes alive, this time also adding a pinch of disco flavours and irresistible low-end waves.

JIZZ and Oscar Silva arrive at TBX Records with a powerful minimalist sound, delivering an excellent EP called 'Back To Funk'. The title track features house organ vibes coupled with funked rythm and a super tight bassline, resulting in a perfect dance floor groover. Di Chiara Brothers rearrange the original adding some garage touches laced with solid drum work and acid droplets. For the b-side comes 'Orbit' exposing outer space sounds intertwined with swinging rhythms and a fantastic vocal sample on top that is so clear that you become lost in it. Enjoy!
