Hungarian DJ/producer Viktor Udvari AKA Capeesh Society lands on Richy Ahmed’s Four Thirty Two imprint with an EP brimming with solid house chops and infectious grooves. Having made a big impact on the burgeoning scene in his native country, the seasoned producer chisels out a quartet of dancefloor slammers on the ‘Path Of The Loners’ EP.
With early praise from the likes of Raresh, Petre Inspirescu and Barac, Capeesh Society has built up an international following via releases and remixes on Ben Rau’s META, Knee Deep In Sound and Hungarian Hot Wax, moving his sound into the chunkier end of house and electronic dance over the years.
‘Blackout Function’ opens the EP with punchy drums and dubby vocal chops, powered by a thunderous b-line and hypnotizing stabs, whilst ‘Money Talks’ is built upon a skippy break that unfurls into an irresistible groove punctuated with soulful vox and glacial keys. ‘Let’s Go’ is a pure roller, as Capeesh deploys shiny hats over a deep production that drops in all the right places, and ‘Crafty Income’ wraps up the EP in fine style with a sprightly organ driven booty shaker!

A welcome back is in order for this brand spanking new MicroHertz release, and we couldn’t be happier bringing back fan favourite, and one of our favourites, Mr. Michel De Hey.

Hailing from Amsterdam, Michel doesn't really need an introduction, but for those of who have yet listened to his music or seen him perform, here’s a little rundown. Renowned for his 30 years of experience in the field, a worldwide respected DJ, producer, label boss and promoter, he was one of the first Dutch DJs to explore the rest of the world, playing high profile gigs from Berlin and Ibiza to Japan and the US. He’s been supported by a who’s who or those in the industry and we0re very happy to welcome him back to the label once again.

To begin this EP Michel brings us the title track ‘Spierpijn’ (muscle sprain) in English…and you know what it’s a fitting name as this can easily because your legs will ache from dancing to this track. De Hey brings the heat with a simple yet driving beat, a rumbling bassline and some nasty top drums. That together with some wicked vocal samples, catchy synth stabs and moving pads, this got dance floor chaos written all over it.

On the B-side he drops ‘Chain Affair’. A non-stop groover that builds from start to finish and takes its energy from the powerful beats, before the stabs once again takes over and together with the rolling, never ending bassline punts this out of orbit. Enjoy!

DXNBY remixes the lead track 'Force Majeure'. The record brings a different twist to the original with a hard dubby bassline and that signature DXNBY sound. Energetic skippy hats, catchy chords and cool use of the vocal sample compliment the groove perfectly.

Do Not Sleep are stoked to welcome back Wyatt Marshall to the label and this time he brings in the talents of Matt Egbert to the ever growing stable of artists, and their brand new 4 track EP called ‘Shelter EP’ is quality through and through. 

LA based producer, Wyatt Marshall, returns to Do Not Sleep for his second EP on the Ibiza based outfits imprint, and this time he collaborates with fellow Californian producer Matt Egbert, who is steadily climbing up the ranks of the minimal scene and when he’s not busy touring as a DJ, he heads up ‘Front Left Productions’, a house & techno collective out of San Diego.

The two have individually graced top labels like Dirtybird, Microhertz, Gruuv, Fine Music, Andhera & Music 4 Lovers, so putting them together for this exceptional release was a no brainer. We kick this EP off with ‘Shelter’. A funk filled production that blends tasty vocal cuts with dope stabs, warm moods, a relentless bass line and of course their signature groovy beats, that starts off and firmly pushes this excellent EP further and further.

On the B-side we find the superb ‘Take Two’. Another beauty from the deeper side of the spectrum, and with its tight beats, funked up bass line and its catchy old-school flavored hooks. Next up we have ‘Lose My Breath’, another gem that’s on the deeper tip. Again the boys bring their tight beats, backed up by warm atmospheric layers and a funky bass that is impossible to ignore. Now, to finish things off, we bring you ‘Expectations’, and you won’t get disappointed. Chugging along with tight beats, a funky bass and some wicked nice vocal cuts, this is a deeper affair that not only will be a staple in many DJ’s sets, it’s really a perfect way to close the loop on yet another top release from Do Not Sleep.

Making his first appearance on Revival New York, mid- September welcomes the arrival of his ‘Rain Dance’ EP as he delivers two fresh productions, accompanied by a remix from rising US talent CHASE WEST.
‘Rain Dance’ opens the EP as Strous combines rumbling basslines, slick drums and powerful vocal samples to unveil a vibrant and dynamic title cut, before ‘Good Boy’ sees hip-hop vocals front and centre accented by warping synths further tight percussion.
